Did I oversee a Lauda paint or is it still missing? That would be a great one, as OE-LPA was my first RL long haul flight - and I just "met" the plane in its actual AUA livery...

 

Still missing. My computer is not exactly cooperating - it got bloated or something (or I got more impatient) - it is very slow with the NGX and 777 paintkits. So far all paint projects except Swiss are postponed until I get a new PC.

Anyone up for a challenge to do a fictional livery?

I am talking about the new livery from Air Malta, which I am sure will look very good on a 777.
This is the one I am talking about:

Despite it looking quite 'simple', there are lots of details to it. For example the tail, all those different coloured bits have patterns in them as well. Different kind of patterns per coloured bit as well.

Furthermore, I could supply one who is up for the challenge with the logo for both the 'airmalta.com', 'malta' and 'the airline of the Maltese islands'.

I have tried to do this livery myself, but I can't possibly get the alignments of those coloured bits correct on the lower and upper fuselage.

How about an AVSIM BBJ T7? Using the old BA livery scheme of dark blue on top, with a light gray on the belly with the addition of a gold pinstripe separating the two. AVSIM logo on the tail. Talk about fictional! :lol:

We have lib managers checking in and approving files around the clock. Usually an upload will be approved in a couple of hours to a half day.

 

As for the images, I suspect that when we ran our image filters today, yours may have been found to be larger than 400K per image. If they exceed that size, they are automatically removed as they are larger than we allow to be uploaded to our servers. If they are hosted elsewhere and 'embedded' in a message, they can be larger. See our image rules by hovering on the FORUMS menu tab above and reading the IMAGE POSTING RULES from there.
