First you need to check that the aircraft have been installed to the aircraft folder, and that the traffic file has been installed to scenery/world/scenery.

Peter,

Thanks for responding. I have checked both the "scenery/world/scenery" and the "aircraft folder" I have started FS9 up and still nothing.....:-(

Your  AI slider in FS9 settings is set to what %

Your AI slider in FS9 settings is set to what %

I'm assuming you are talking about the Traffic % in the settings? If so, I have it set at 100%.

If the WOAI installer is correctly placing the aircraft and traffic files, then it should work.  I don't have any experience of windows 8 to be able to advise you.

I understand. That is where I'm wondering if the OS is creating a step I'm missing. I want my TRAFFIC so bad. I appreciate your help and time.

I am dumb, and a Gemini.

On the one hand I like "as real as it gets" and spend A LOT of money to ensure that

.

On the other, whilst I bought My Traffic way back in FS2002 time I have stayed with that program ever since ... even if it's substantially outdated. Reason: although I like airport and sky activity (so I'm not alone) with the aircraft I fly I'm heads down pretty much all the time.

Heresy to some I know but I don't care less what timetables AI are flying to, airline brand or graphic fidelity ... as long as it moves I am OK.

Go figure.

If you look at the aircraft.cfg file in the AI aircraft folder, do the [fltsim.X] entries look ok ?

Do the textures in the texture folder look ok?

It is possible that win8 is not permitting a proper install. Use the installer again and this time select "manual install". All the components will be installed in a temporary folder of your own making (outside of any program files). You can then try copying the fltsim.x entries and the textures yourself. Do the same for the traffic file.

I dont know what the permission settings are like in win8, but if they are anything like win7 make sure you set them low when running the installer and try running it "as administrator" if that is an option (right click on the installer)

I did run the installer as administrator. I will attempt the manual install as soon as I get home. Thank again for your time and help.

Hi Everyone,

Just like to mention that I loved WOAI, and used it without a problem under WIN XP.

However, since I upgraded to WIN 7, I have failed to install a single aircraft.

I tried all the possible solutions mentioned in this thread without success.

Make sure you run WOAI as administrator for Win7 and 8.
