Will REX Simair Experience be the new FSPassengers/Airhauler?

I've also never received an email update. I don't have a spam folder, so that's not the reason.  The emails just aren't reaching some people.

Can you email me at:  [email protected] with the email address you used and I can verify if we have your name on the list?

We have sent out emails in the past and we try to only do it once a month as to NOT overwhelm peoples email accounts.  Sometimes it has stretched to two months because the team has been busy working on things.   We will be putting out a new updated email this week.

I still remember the "guess the title" marketing stunt years ago; wonder if the winner is still even simming :He He:

Actually, I believe he still is Blaze. Wow, these past 2 years just blew by!

Yes, they have flown by.

Given that a good deal of time has passed and that Simmair looks largely to be MMP style program it would be really great to see consideration for cross platform support. I have Latitude and would love to be able to use it and Simair in XP10 even if it meant separate purchase/ license fee.

I was wondering, I know of FSPassengers, AirHauler, and FSCaptain, but are there any other similar add ons that also work with P3D?

FSCaptain 1.5.0 Beta 2 works with P3D2.  (I hope to make my first revenue flight after lunch today.)

Run the full version installer and point it to your P3D2 root folder.  You may have noticed that Pete Dowson has updated FSUIPC to 4.923; it's well worth snagging that regardless if you want to try FSCaptain or not.

Instructions and notes on how to install & use FSCaptain are on our forum.  Support may be slow over the next day or so as we're about to engorge ourselves with Thanksgiving goodness....  -_-

(Each product functions in a fully-functional trial mode for interested users.)

You may think your support is a little 'slow'....but just think how slow some products are to release following the first 'announcement'! <_<

Years in the making...must be going to be pretty epic.  I guess I just don't grasp the 'finer nuances' of PC product advertising, but I suppose the term vapourware had to come from somewhere :P

This came from REX in my email this morning I will try to remember to post these updates to this thread as they come in, enjoy!

REX SIMAIR...HEY - I need some help!!

Do you like friendly advise?

In our last post we discussed the VIRTUAL COURTROOM and some of the events that could lead to lawsuits. Here we’re going to discuss VIRTUAL ADVISERS. Although REX SIMAIR is being developed for ease-of-use, we believe it’s necessary to provide help along the way.

VIRTUAL ADVISERS are there to help alert you to potential problems and provide you with solutions. Of course you can choose to ignore them, however it may not be wise as these advisers are your eyes to what competition is doing.

Here’s a list of your advisers and their basic functions within the simulator:

OPERATIONS MANAGER – in charge of helping the user setup their SIM CARRIER and manage HUB’s, ROUTE’s, and AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE.

FINANCIAL MANAGER – in charge of monitoring and advising about finances of your operation. This adviser will keep you advised of critical financial situations and advice about seeking new sources of revenue.

LEGAL ADVISER – in charge of providing legal assistance.

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER – in charge of the management process of your organization's workforce, and is responsible for the attraction, selection, training, assessment, and rewarding of your virtual employees, while also overseeing organizational leadership.

SALES / MARKETING MANAGER – in charge of advising you about potential market opportunities and how to strategize their marketing campaign’s.

FLIGHT OPERATIONS MANAGER – in charge of advising a SIM PILOT about their flight, including weather conditions, crew, route, fuel, passenger manifest, etc.

FLIGHT CREW – in charge of taking care of your virtual passengers or cargo.

GROUND CREW – in charge of setting up and taking care of your aircraft, virtual passengers or cargo needs.

As you can see you will not be going at it alone.

In our next post we will discuss more about the game flow and how it all works together.

Interesting indeed....considering I 'subscribed' on the Simair site quite a while ago out of interest, and have received nothing to date...

(Yes I know how email filters work.....before I get the obvious replies..)

Can't help but chuckle really  .   As a matter of interest I will be producing a Space Shuttle model for FSX which simulates all systems in the shuttle, photo-real textures (you won't believe the detail!), and even includes a fully realistic launch procedure!  Screenshot of my work so far on the flight deck attached....stay tuned for progress reports and an expected release date!

Not sure if this i s a joke?

Not sure if this i s a joke?

I'd think it is, playing off of the 2.5 - 3 year lead time that the SimAir project has enjoyed in our minds.

Of course when the KiwiSpitfireSpaceShuttleSimulator is announced as for sale by one of the usual flght sim resellers, I'll jump in line with my credit card ready.
