  1. I've tried since yesterday and get an HTTP 500 error on all downloads when I try to add them to my cart. Boxed versions can be added, but I don't want them. This is with the US site and even with the UK / Euro site. I click to add the Download version, and a 500 error is the result.
  2. I've downloaded the 1.014 update, but I'm not certain how to apply it to my FSX installation. Do I uninstall the current 1.013 version first, or do I simply execute the 1.014 update over my current FSX install? Once I've updated, I believe that I could install to my Prepare3D that I have running on the same computer. Is that so???
  3. I have all of the DSD vehicle sets, and just a few days ago when I installed the Zinertek HD package I wasn't aware that it included airport vehicles. So far I've not noticed any differences. I'm mostly aware of the pushback tugs that I know to be DSD, but just yesterday I saw an "airport police" car which I believe is a DSD vehicle. I so do like the DSD de-icing trucks which come up and start spraying for no good reason. ("Thankyouverymuch....")
  4. I purchased a airport replacement texture set a year or two ago, and I was mostly impressed - except for one particular texture... of what looked to be a DHL "garage door." (Using their bold colors of course.) On some of my freeware sceneries I would have dozens of those doors side by side which all told, really looked odd. Is there any such "startlingly repeatable texture" in this set?? If not, I think I'll spring for it.
  5. Hi Richard, To echo Andy from earlier in this thread, the example you show in your KPHX SILOW3.BCE KDEN screenshot looks to be correct. Looking at your list of waypoints, numbers 2 through 9 are the waypoints of the SILOW.BCE departure. Numbers 10 through 14 appear to be taken from an approach (likely to 16R) and as such would never be represented in an ATS route string. IRL, some companies do not include departure & arrival procedures for their route strings, some do. Likewise, some companies do not include departure & arrival airports while others do.
  6. The ES site was offline a few hours ago, but it's back now. Maybe it only pulled a muscle celebrating Sturridge's goal.
  7. <snark="light"> Oh thank goodness we will never be subjected any longer to what's been the sheer nonstop bombardment of detail from REX Cental about SIMAIR, so we can all now relax until its arrival. :Talking Ear Off: Honestly, I don't know if I want to be in the camp that holds SIMAIR to "track the stress on each rivet and weld of the airframe in order to force an in-air pressurization failure" or to have SIMAIR "calculate the torrid interaction factor between the ground crew and the flight attendants so to calculate the impediment of cabin service to passengers." It could well be both! I just could never fold into the camps that had SIMAIR as a real-time voice-activated ATC replacement that was SID/STAR aware, or an AccuFeel-like simulator that would provide "wingflex" calculations for all aircraft, or even nothing more than a simple rebranding of FSX for "entertainment purposes" after the Licensing Deal had completed. I'm certain that SIMAIR has to be more than all of these put together. Although the recent perception that REX SIMAIR was nothing more than a P3D2.2 and XPlane10 emulator that would run within FS9 & FSX in order to triple the framerates and offer stutter-free triple-monitor ground shadowing did cause some goose pimples to erupt in some threads.
  8. I purchased the Aldernay scenery earlier today and downloaded it at somewhere around 40Kbps. That's okay, I can understand and relate if a site / fileserver is being overwhelmed with users. ^_^ Although I have a small problem - some of my buildings appear to be "floating roofs" in FSX or "black walls" in P3D2.2 - I would like to purchase a few more of the island sceneries because I do appreciate the detail being modeled. However when I either try to access the site in my browser... or if I try to file a ticket in the "installer program"... both the installer and my browser report an HTTP 500 error when trying to access the Earth Simulations site. Has anyone else had any problems accessing ES over the past few hours???
  9. SymAir? SymAire? SumAir? SomeAir? Just to keep the base homonyms near to the original, there's a dozen or so possibilities -- any of which would have passed legal review. And if the dispute were ever settled in REX's favor, all's that's needed is a simple slight-of-hand "name change". (Unlike "Darren" in Bewitched, which was a slight-of-hand "face change".) <_<
  10. Thank you Gerald for your reply! I have looked in that folder and I do not see any generic commands that refer to selecting the active fuel tank. From my knowledge of FS9/FSX, there are a limited set of fuel tanks which could be "active" - Center -- Right Main -- Left Main -- Right Aux -- Left Aux -- Center 2 -- Center 3 - etc. I am flying mostly small piston aircraft with a career progression program (FS Captain) which has a requirement to report one's position every 30 minutes. So as part of my "flow" if I am flying a Carenado with manual fuel tank selectors (such as the Carenado Cessna 206) I will switch my tank selector from Left to Right for each position report. This keeps the left / right weight of the aircraft mostly in balance. I would like to use MCE to respond to such a command as "Fuel Selector Left Main" or "Fuel tank Center 2" but I do not see any commands built in to MCE that does this. Perhaps I could make my own VOXSCRIPT or VOXKEY commands, but if you could show me something that is already enabled then perhaps I could use them? If there are no such commands today, then perhaps I would ask that a future version of MCE could react to such commands?? Thank you for reading and for your excellent MCE - it is a must-have!
  11. Hello Zicheng! The FranceVFR products that are on sale appear to be photoscenery only... with no autogen. I have had a similar question in mind as I need to reinstall my simulator with all of my desired sceneries including FranceVFR sceneries with autogen. I have had a plan in mind to install all of my non-ORBX sceneries first, and then to make a backup of these files: AutogenDescriptions.spb Materials.spb RoofDescriptions.spb And then to install my ORBX regions while keeping these backups so I can merge all of the descriptions together as noted on a post from http://libertysim.net/
  12. Hello team FS++! Is there a set of commands for the basic aircraft like the Carenado 206 to switch the fuel selector from "left" to "right" or viceversa? I have found commands in some of the MCE jetliner manuals to order specific fuel pumps and "crossfeeds" but I do not think they work in my Carenados. But then again, I may not know the actual commands.... Thanks!
  13. Ron, I read your post in which you entwined "aeroplane / airplane" in what I took to be an "European / American" jest - so I followed up with a similar jest using "Airbus" which is apparently a "consortium of European aircraft manufacturers" who feel they are in the forefront of the industry. They may have been in the news recently, which is why I thought to use the term. I'm sorry if it's dated and/or they're bankrupted. Mi bedaŭras.
  14. There was a 100/200 version announced by an outfit named "AWG Simulations" a year or so ago. It sounded interesting, but they went quiet about it soon thereafter though. :(
  15. You can ignore those machines - they're just the originals which others such as Airbus have started to perfect. ^_^
  16. I'd think it is, playing off of the 2.5 - 3 year lead time that the SimAir project has enjoyed in our minds. Of course when the KiwiSpitfireSpaceShuttleSimulator is announced as for sale by one of the usual flght sim resellers, I'll jump in line with my credit card ready.
  17. Noel, If you are a "mostly California" flier as I often am, I'd recommend that you wait until Orbx releases their landclass package for North America before uninstalling FTXG. Personally, I'm "on the fence" in regards to FTXG - there are many things that I like about it, but some that I don't. I'm wanting to give them the benefit of releasing all of their packages for a given area..... But if you really feel the need to uninstall, I'd use their un-installer first. And trust that it will do the proper job. If you don't want to go that route, or if you simply want to run one of the GEX installers, I would switch the FTX Central to "Default" and untick all of the options first. (That would be my best guess... I do not know what Orbx's official "how to install GEX (or anything like GEX) over FTXG" method is.) In either extent, I would hope that you would have taken a full backup of your FSX install beforehand. Make a backup in any case - and good luck!!!!!!!!
  18. I made the switch from GEX to FTX a few weeks ago. I've since ran into a "how to I add something now" question, and I've chosen a path that I hope will keep my install stable. But I'm keeping a backup of my last FSX/GEX install until P3D 2.0 releases. If it turns out to be a significant enhancement, I may revert FSX back to GEX-only and move FTX to P3D.
  19. If they don't try to claim the same window or gauge position, I can't imagine they would. Well you might have two co-pilots telling you to do this or that, but eventually you would know which one to listen to at what time.
  20. I wonder what's changed since SimSavvy days?...
  21. I trust that most people know that when it comes to televised food / restaurant commercials, they practically never use real food in their shots. Think of the lights / heat, etc. Such things as clumps of mashed potato used in lieu of vanilla ice cream used to be so common as known to be accepted practice. I've never needed to stuff socks in my pants, m'self.
  22. Hmmm. I do admire those who jump in ahead of me because you give me footpaths with which I can follow... But before I do something drastic to my beloved FSX, I do want to hear from those (whom have NVidia cards and NVidia-Inspector) and whom have not dabbled with DX10 before this application. I'm lazy and clueless and literally want a 1 - to - 2 - to - 3 - to - 4 path with lots of "back up and undo this" instructions as needed.
