September 20, 201312 yr DO YOU THINK BUSINESS COMPUTERS DON'T HAVE ISSUES AND PROBLEMS? THINK AGAIN... ohh shure they also have, but plz understand that this is nothing compared against the nightmare a consumer system could be... did you, or do you have someone who take a look over your systems event protocol ? September 20, 201312 yr No major issues here. Really enjoying the 777. September 20, 201312 yr Hi, I have no problems with the T7 other than a couple of self created errors which I sorted out by reading again some of the documents provided. Over many years in this hobby the biggest failing for lots of simmers is that they do not want to read any documents before flying. For some reason this is a common failing yet when challenged about it most will swear that they have read them.,except it is obvious that a lot of guys just do not read them until they have run into problems. I actually owned the T7 for five days before my first flight and that was Tutorial 1.I was pleased that I had taken the time to read the documents as well as watching the video tutorial It does provide a good basis to enable you to then take on your own flights. This forum would would be a lot quieter if we all read the docs.! Norman Bowman
September 20, 201312 yr Bearing in mind the complexity of this new product, my personal opinion is that this is the most impressive release I have ever seen. I am unaware of any complex piece of software being released without a few minor bugs. iOS 7 springs to mind. As do just about everything from the other large software company ;-) So, well done and thank you PMDG. Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
September 20, 201312 yr As always PMDG refused to release the T7 until it was as near bug free as possible. You will never see any developer achieve this 100%. PMDG came darn close. Regards, Rick Hobbs
September 20, 201312 yr I have completed 4 or 5 flights so far, 2 very long hauls, 2 medium and one very short. Also did a few test flights, mostly testing takeoff performance to try and prevent overspeed a light weights. My issues so far: 1) Getting the throttles working at A/T on. Now fixed after re-calibrating my throttles through FSX and then following the various guides on the forums. Todays flight worked great. 2) Today after engine start I forgot to turn on the Bleeds for 1 & 2. The Normal checklist switched to Abnormal checklist for Bleed air failure and gave me instructions on how to fix. I just turned on the two switches and the issue was resolved but all though the flight the checklist kepts going back to this non normal checklist and I don't know why. No other errors that I could find on EICAS. This my very well be user error on my part. Other than that, after reading the intro document and going back to it a few times to check something, it has been completely flawless. Mark CYYZ
September 20, 201312 yr Either way you look at it, you are better off with the PMDG T7 than the competition's Daniel T Costa
September 20, 201312 yr Win 8 Here, Not a problem. Well, FSX locked and crashed with the T7 once but that was "My Bad". Oooopsy David Warner David Warner
September 21, 201312 yr No need to yell. A computer's a computer. I have no idea what the point of the "business computer" was all about. Either way, no need to take a shot at me because I pointed out that reinstallations are thrown around here needlessly. As you can see, it didn't fix the issue, which points to something else. Just make sure you install everything properly after the reformat you're doing and you should be fine. Nothing in my last post was at all mean-spirited. I know I can occasionally be harsh, but that's not even the case here. If you're here for help, you might want to be a little nicer to those who could potentially help you. I get that you're frustrated, but there's no reason to take any of that out on me. At all. No need to yell. A computer's a computer. My apolgies. I may have been too harsh... I installed the Whole Windows gain, and now I get a black screen after I installed the T777. I reallyu can't figure out, what the problem is... I think that a software with this price tag should work FLUENTLY. This doesn't. Well.. I see nothing but black screen. Impressive... Fly like an Eagle...

You really shouldn't expect anything related to FSX work fluently when the base program itself mostly doesn't... At least personally I don't remember ever completing more than 50 flights without one ending up in a CTD. Anyway whatever problems there are left that are actually related to PMDG aircraft will be fixed in future patches I'm sure. Regards Joona L

When will PMDG fix all of these and potentially other problems that dozens of Flight Simmers are experiencing? September 23, 201312 yr does anyone have issues with the T7 and flytampa airports? I get extremely low frames and memory issues all the time, I have read up on OOMS and turned down sliders etc etc cant figure it out.
September 24, 201312 yr Commercial Member When will the developer fix all of the issues caused by the people using the software?!?!? Get the torches and pitchforks, people! This is an outrage!!! Kyle Rodgers
September 25, 201312 yr Hope all are doing there best to enjoy their new PMDG T7 experience. However,... It's impossible to notice on this forum that the majority of post are due to problems that ones are having with there new and cherished PMDG T7. Is this ONLY due to the fact that it is new to our SIM pilots? or that there is a "teething period" for PMDG? I would be interested in your constructive comments. As always. Best regards. Wasn't your last thread (which, I have to say, looked identical to this) get locked? Anyway, you're dramatically overstating the issues with this aircraft. If you want to see what a failed release looks like, take a look at Total War: Rome 2.

If you want to see what a failed release looks like, take a look at Total War: Rome 2. I have not stated any specific "issues" let alone overstating one. Please not that the OP asked for "your constructive comments". You have added nothing of any value to this extremely interesting and constructive forum. Have a good evening sir.
