Hi,

Not as a free download, they did offer a discount for FSX purchasers if I remember correctly. But don't quote me on that. Maybe with v2.0 on the horizon, they'll offer another discount if the masses start to make the move to P3D 2.0.

I have the FSX version. Do I qualify to download and install this version in P3D?

Sure. About time we had a viable upgrade.

Hi,

The iFly 737 is available for and was made to work with P3D. The price is $79.95. I also fly with three monitors 5760x1200x32. Wouldn't have it any other way, could never go back to a single monitor.

DX11 compatible? This could be an issue with some addons as they are currently.

Hi,

True it may be an issue with DX11. But, at least they are working with P3D. So I'm sure it will get fixed, if indeed its broken.

That is tru Mike. I just wouldn't assume all your FSX addons textures, aircraft or scenery are going to work with V2 out of the box. I have no proof but some developers may charge for a DX11/P3D V2 upgrade? After all. it is not simply changing an installer.

Hi,

I'm under no delusion that there will be no issues making the jump from 1.4 to 2.0. I've already conditioned myself into believing nothing is going to work, this way... anything I actually get to work is a plus. As far as cost, my hardware far outweighs my software costs, if there is a fee (upgrade and/or new) for the new software, so be it.

As a home cockpit builder, Flight sim via P3D 2.0 is about to get a whole lot better VERY SHORTLY!! My wife already knows not to bother me for the first three days this new package is in my possession. :LMAO:

Although, this IS encouraging.

We are working towards a goal of full backwards compatibility. The developer scene has done 100 different things a million different ways, they are very innovative and creative, so it's hard to work in compatibility for everything but we are very close and working with some major addon partners to ensure we've got the bases covered.
