Who is coming to the party!

Featured Replies

I have grown tired of all the talk of, you know who. So please don't bring it up in my thread I'm very excited about the upcoming platform and have been looking at aircraft to fly on it. Two great aircraft that will probably take up the majority of my flying time, A2A's C172, and Majestics Dash 8-Q400 Pro. Both of these aircraft are as good as anything else out there, or even better. Not only do these aircraft bring an incredible amount of systems programming, but both come with improved FDE. Accusim for the Cessna and an external FDE for the Dash 8. Why be happy with 95% accuracy when you can have nearly perfect? These aircraft are THE very best add-ons for FSX or P3D period, IMHO. Again, keep this thread about aircraft we WILL be able to fly and why you like them. Please respect my thread, DO NOT EVEN USE THE FOUR LETTER WORD!!

PMD..... , EU...... sorry, couldn't resist. Yeah I join your party for sure ^_^

Are you sure that the Majestic q400 and A2A Cessna will work in P3Dv2? If so that would be great, all I really need right now is P3Dv2 Orbx terrain, A2A Cessna and Majestic q400 and I'll be in sim heaven.

Once it's out I'll never look back at FSX, it will only be a bad memory from the past(countless of hours tweaking, swearing, some more tweaking and swearing and a few good moments) B)

is this party going to have girls with HD Textures   and an open bar :P

A2A and Majestic are developers for P3D so hopefully they will provide installers for V2. I'm willing to bet that I'll be flying both real soon!

It does have Heidi, kinda cute for a sim! haha

I currently only fly low and slow on the A2A C172R (after doing the same (though a bit less slow...) with the RealAir Legacy for a year or so) and I only fly in Norway (using FTX Global and Norway freeware). I am looking forward to giving the upcoming Orbx demo of Iceland a try in P3D 2.0 with my C172R and then in early 2014 I will surely go back to Norway when Orbx releases FTX Norway South!

Other than that I only want a few REX textures (just the sky and the clouds: I don't use the rest) and something like OpusFSX weather and I am good to go! I probably will upgrade my PC (or get a complete new one) after a while too (when I know what hardware is best for P3D 2.0).

The future is looking better than ever before for flight simming!

I will probably release a compatible version of my add-ons for use with Prepar3D. However, to maintain the spirit of the Terms of Use, the user will be required to have a web cam, which must be in use when flying over my product. They must also have facial recognition software in use, so that if the web camera shows any user smiling the add on will be deleted from the hard drive. My add-ons will only be marketed towards hardcore or serious simmers, no smiling from being entertained will be tolerated!

As far as I am aware, the A2A C172 comes with a P3D install option already.

These two will probably be the first ones for P3D for me too. I'll be getting it too when it gets released, no matter what others say.

Didn't notice when I installed, thanks. Then I guess it will work in P3Dv2 too :yahoo:

I'm bringing a cask of Rioja to this party so we can rejoice at never having to fly a four letter word ever again :)

What I'm looking forward to the most is getting that thrill of speed from being down low to the ground and because the frames are keeping up (fingers crossed) and, if it will feels half as good as a certain other flight sim that failed...

...so lets just simply enjoy the wine and the chatter about flying and expectations until release day... It will make the time fly :)

Cheers! *clinck*

As far as I know, the only thing I have that won't work under P3D is the Dodosim 206 helicopter. I haven't looked lately, but even that may have a P3D version, probably a separate purchase.
