Even if today or tomorrow a beta version of 10.25 was released, it's NOT an official update yet.

 

So don't be angry when it contains bugs and problems, and don't blame Laminar for that, because after all you should NOT use it yet, UNLESS you consider yourself beta testers and take the time to write correct bug reports using the official form.

 

This said, I guess the beta phase of 10.25 might be a short one, because according to Ben, it mostly includes texture changes and this should not include big problems.

 

But I already fear the beta phase of 10.30, when people won't understand what beta means ...

I just remember the last long beta phase, for the 64 bit transition, when nearly everybody complained that it did not work, and that addon aircraft were not 64-bit ready -- EVEN when 64 bit was NOT officially released.

 

I mean ... I'm just 32 years old, but I get the impression that today people are much less patient than in former times. Everything has to be perfect right here, right now, and "beta" is mistaken for "released".

 

But maybe this is just a symptom of me getting older. *lol*
