You're welcome. It was gorgeous weather. Climbed up the Tasman Glacier, through the Graham Saddle and down the Franz Josef Glacier to NZFJ. By this time it was starting to get dark and there is a lack of lit runways in these parts, so I parked up. Might try the run down to Haast today if time allows.

Yesterday was LFPG - RJAA as AFR6760 in the PMDG 777F

 

Today is LFPG - KORD as AFR6732 - 3 hours in, long way to go

 

After a nice rest and some chores Sunday, fly back to France KORD - KJFK - LFPG

I have the ISG gauge package. What fmc would I use from there?

 

ISG uses a different system for it's FMC-led LNAV, where a separate button is used and slaves the Heading Mode of the aircraft it's used in.    However I tried it with the Coolsky DC-9 and it does not work;  the ISG LNAV mode cannot slave the DC-9's Heading Mode, as the latter is custom-coded;  it's not using the default FSX AP HDG variable.

 

Hence, why even though the ISG is far superior in terms of function,  I deliberately bought the FP FMC Pack 1 from Flgiht Sim Store, as it is a FMC based on the FSX GPS500 and as such it drives the DC-9's "GPS NAV" mode and works perfectly.

This weekend it has been two Global Supply System MD-11F cargo charter sectors for BAvirtual.

 

East Midlands to Rome yesterday, Rome to Hong Kong today.

I just landed PMDG 777200LRF at Frankfurt Main. This was enactment of Etihad flight 910 (Flightaware) from Abu Dhabi OMAA to EDDF. I flew real time/real weather ( I used PFPX and Activeysky Evolution) 6 hours and 15 minutes in Etihad livery. A Saturday well spent.

As I had the weekend just gone off from work I had a pretty busy weekend.

 

On Friday night I did

Auckland (NZAA) - Wellington (NZWN) in the Aerosoft A320

 

On Saturday Cairns (YBCS) - Alice Springs (YBAS) and return again on the Aerosoft A320.

 

On Sunday I did New York/JFK (KJFK) - Amsterdam (EHAM) ib the PMDG MD-11 then that night I was going to do a EDDL-OMDB run in the PMDG 777 but I cancelled and did Sanya (ZJSY) - Hong Kong/Kai Tak (VHHX) in the A320 instead
