I like flying the 727 and L-1011...

MAAM R4D/DC-3, and PMDG 737NG for me, expecting to get the PMDG 737 -800/900 upgrade and Dreamfleet 727 sometime soon.... Have the CaptainSim 727, but the Dreamfleet 727 might push it to the recycle bin....Also the FSDzigns Connie, Howard 500 and the fanda Dash8 Q300 as my more favorite freeware.. The dash8 itself may not be perfect, but the panel rocks.... :(

Tough call. I'd have to say the PMDG 737NG and Flight 1 ATR. They're both different kinds of planes, yet equally as good.

Even though I have a hanger stacked full of planes, I always get drawn back to the following.PMDG 737NG, Top notch AirlineriFDG A3XX with PSS panel, Best Airbus combination BAR NONEAeroworx B200, Love this one, the sounds and FDE are very goodPSS Concorde, Great simulation of a great plane, the inclusion of the VFE makes it even betterF1 ATR, the pinnicle of regional twinsFeelthere ERJ, Nice complete packageDan.

I have an even tougher choice!I am building a small home cockpit and really can't fly ANY of the really good aircraft out there!NONE of them works with my MCP (using FSBUS)!!!So, I don't have many choices. If I want to use my hardware I have to fly aircraft and panels that use the default autopilot as none of the good aircraft works with the hardware. :-(If I don't use the hardware, my choices are two...The PIC767 or POSKY 757 with the PIC767 panel and the modified dynamics, and the PMDG 737NG...Yes... I know the PIC767 is for FS2002.But I love it!George DorkofikisAthens, Greece

I have a couple of aircraft that I frequently fly:Default Piper Cub (w/ airfile by Tom Goodrick to make it slip spin and handle better on ground)Aerosoft DA20 KatanaRealAir ScoutAussim Warrior II/IIICarenado Cherokee 180FSD Seneca & Navajo PantherThen I have many more, both freeware and payware that I fly less often. Indeed it's sometimes hard to decide which one to fly - think I'll take the Beaver today. No wait I'll take the Seneca instead...or perhaps the Cherokee?? :-hmmm No *where* to fly today?? :-lol

For me it's the PMDG 737-800NG all the way... (well 95% of the time)!Best RegardsBoone,[email protected]"Flying a plane is no different from riding a bicycle. It's just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes."

RFP/Posky makes me fly :-hah!! That's my best pick. As soon as you know what to do it's an awesome/realistic package!:-waveEvert

Thanks John, I'm getting a bit of a stutter in the Warrior III VC. Looks like I'll have to get out my tweaking hat and see what I can do.

>I was thinking today that it is becoming a problem lately,>when I want to go flying, cause I can't figure out which plane>to fly. Which do I like the best, is the first thing I think>of. After I think about that, I realize that I should>maintain some variety with my choices so that I don't become>one dimensional as far as the aircraft choices I make. My thinking is, that most pilots fly the same aircraft most of the time. Ive several licensed friends, flown with them many times, most fly not only the same type, but the same aircraft. If you own one, you fly that one all the time, Ive never known one who went out and rented a different one. It also means gaining more experience with what you fly in, that changing off all the time means less experience. Years ago I used to fly a different aircraft each time I flew. Flew props, jets, aerobatic, etc. But, one day decided that if I was really flying, I'd probably never have the chance to fly a jet. My goal was one day, to get a license. So decided to fly only a props. Still, flew different ones. But, one day went up in a Waco in Sedona, AZ and fell in love. Bought Bill Lyons Waco and flew it in Justin Tyme's Mesh in Sedona... never got tired or bored, and finally went to AZ, Paid double to go up in the Waco, so I could take the controls. Since then, flying in the Waco has been reliving that adventure. Today, couldnt pass the physical for a license, but, every vacation I go to Sedona, and fly a Waco in the front seat. Now, I still fly other aircraft, as longer trips the Waco is too slow for me. (Only fly realtime.) But my aircraft of choice has become Mike Stone's B1900 and Ive flown it around the world. Ive actually removed all other flyable aircraft from the FS except these two, and Eaglesoft's Citation X, for trips across the oceans. But, once I get across, I "Rent" either a Waco or B1900 depending upon the distance of the flights. :-D Bob>I decided on my Flight 1 ATR and flew it on about 4 different>flights today. I even hand flew it for the entire 200 mile>flight from Toronto to the ILS in Albany, New York. I think>it gets my vote as the best thing I have in the hanger. I always seem to come back to Flight One's C310 & FSD's Commander.
