Has anyone tried to replace FSX Main Interface?

Featured Replies

You know, the main window with home, free flight missions, etc. Either a total replacement or customization of it?

Well, LM has, but I'm not sure of anyone else doing so.

Head to avsim file library, choose Flight Simulator X - Miscellaneous Files, then type "blue" into the box, and scroll down a bit, 4th item.

Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.

Sweet ... anybody know how he did it? I love to get rid of the home buttom (pointless website) and make a few of my own.

Not bad...

I may just use this for a while. It's like a fresh coat of paint!

I use SimLauncher, maybe a bit different from what you're looking for, but very good and convenient.

browse that folder, bunch of bmp files. Change what you don't like. :)

You might like to use this.  Use the link above FSX - Misc. files.  In the box type jsgme.exe then search.  I have used this for a couple of years now.

I swapped mine out with in-game photos and such. My favorite image to swap is the one that sits behind the rotating aircraft in the Select Aircraft menu. Pretty REX clouds look great back there.

That looks very nice.

If there was something like this with several options per button / images / tab .
