Some great business jets coming out

Agreed on that one... an older variant (H25B) would be cool....  for someone who doesn't like glass it's not too far from glass hehe....  EHSI/EADI with FMS and digital radios hehe....

Just as a corporate aircraft it can out perform some of the smaller jets. Just saying it's a good corporate aircraft for the missions it does

Ah yes, the Kingairs are indeed business aircraft but equating them with jets is what threw me off.

Interesting to hear about the team up with LES - I'll buy both Citations on both platforms hehe.

Does that mean the XLS+ is still first to come out the FSX door?  Or will the C3 now take precedence?

XLS+ is the first choice but the nearest to completion may be first. Too early to tell.. much to do on both and a few others we can't discuss. B)

It's a pity Gulfstream is so steadfast about their policy on sharing data or allowing FSX reproductions of their aircraft to be created.. Would love a G550/650 for some FSX tomfoolery!

Another die hard fan of the Eaglesoft Citation II here  ..... that plane has so much character.   Not to mention amazing flight handling characteristics.  It may be old now, and the visuals may be evidence of that but still, the only time I will ever retire the ES Citation II, is when this forthcoming v 3.0 comes out!

Dave, we agree. She just has that something... B)

First one out of the gate is the CII 3.0 as Illustrated.

Exciting stuff!

So what are the plans at Eaglesoftdg for the updated Citation II for FSX? What will we notice if we get the V3.0 when the gate opens as compared to the existing ESDG CII? Just curious.

Too early to go into detail Ray. To clarify, "first out of the gate" in this instance is in reference to the ES/LES collaboration "gate".

I for one am waiting for a HondaJet.

It looks to be a real head turner. I just read that the 5th one is now flying. Honda does have 'staying power'.

I like the 420kts cruise and 4,000 FPM climb. There are tons of 4,000 foot runways in FSX that would love to greet a new Honda Jet. The Garmin G3000 panel is almost the same as the new Citation M2.

This gives a whole new meaning to the term "Honda Pilot"

Awesome to see the Citation II is getting a revamp.  I think Lionheart is working on a Lear 23 or 24.  Personally I would love to see a Falcon 10.  That is one gorgeous airplane.  That or any 60s/70s era jet...ie Saberliner, Jetstar, HS125....etc.   Also  there is the potential for a PMDG BBJ version of NGX.

The King Airs and all are nice, but since in FSX I am only hauling my little ol self and have plenty of virtual gas money to burn, a P-51 will do the same thing, plus have that beautiful purring V-12 up front B)  The P-51 is actually a very efficient airplane between FL150 and FL180.   300MPH TAS with +1500nm range at econ cruise settings is very good even by today's standards.

An Accusimmed Howard 500?,....ooooh ...ok wake up from dream.

Cheers

Never mind Ron I think there's something being lost in text here lol

An ADF will get you there just as well as a G1000 will let alone a 530!!! I don't even have a 530 in my real plane, up until a few years ago we still had a LORAN we now have a Garmin 155XL and it works just as well as a 530 does.

Not the point. I prefer modern avionics preferably the latest and what the aircraft is equipped with.

I have been in and around one, albeit not in the air, and it is an impeccable work.  But perhaps the most interesting aspect is the Honda engine, which is small, lightweight, still very powerful, and significantly more fuel efficient.  Cost of operation will be almost unbelievable for a small jet.  Here is a link to more about the engine, which will be marketed to other manufacturers by GE in a licensing agreement.
