GTA 5 modded cockpit view

Featured Replies

The PC version of GTA-5 is anticipated by many, not only for the better graphics potential but also for the many mods that are expected to be produced. Meanwhile a few clever gamers have already managed to mod the console version of GTA-5 to some extent....

GTA-5 cockpit view mod

Its a bit basic this one, and instruments still require modding, but its a good mod for flying in GTA's detailed real-world environment. Not bad for 8-year old PS3/Xbox hardware.......

I think I gave up on Rockstar. After so many months, and no official response from them in regards to a PC release, is beyond asinine and unproffesional.

If dates on wiki are right, then:

GTA III: PC release 7 months after PS2

Vice City: PC release 7 months after PS2

San Andreas: PC release 7 months after PS2

GTA IV:  PC release 7 months after PS3/X360

The Lost and Damned: PC release 14 months after X360

The Ballad of Gay Tony: PC release 5 months after X360

GTA V Release date: 17 September 2013 (5 months ago) and people are shouting about no PC release since day one.  It's going to happen, just nobody knows when.

Cheers, George.

Hopefully they will release it on PC. I'm not too hopeful, to be honest.

If it isn't released in another month for the PC, then it probably isn't going to happen, just like Red Dead Redemption.

Yup. And that's why I'm fighting for a fix for GTA 4 on PC (Also incredibly fun with mods and multiplayer). See my signature.

I personally think GTA-5 will be released on PC within the next 3 to 5 months as there are quite a few pointers to this possibilty ..

GTA was of course conceived on the PC, and every version since has been on PC. So lets hope for '5'...

On that same site I found this: http://www.gamepur.com/news/13326-first-gta-v-pc-gameplay-footage-leaked-looks-more-fake-legit.html

With the link to this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ipf9daRtVtc

The article was written in January, so GTA 5 was out at the time. The video, according to YouTube, was taken down by Take Two (Company that owns Rockstar). Maybe it's a sign?

I'm hopeful also, but in the intervening time since the first version of GTA, the game market has moved to mobile devices and consoles. Some of this was because of the rampant pirating of PC games on CDs and DVDs. Now that the PC market is again dominated by online downloads, that "excuse" is gone. But the momentum has been lost. video games, except for the rare exceptions like Skyrim, Portal, etc. are console first than everything else next.

Which is kind of nonsense on the developers part, since in some country's console piracy is as rampant as PC piracy ever was. Maybe worse.

Very true.  Still, fingers crossed for the PC version of GTA-5 ..especially when the console version looks this good and fun...

I could do without some of the language though. When the kids are playing it on the console, I kind of grimace, sometimes.
