ECZA in P3D working?

Featured Replies

Greetings,

Is anyone else using ECZA and has it got to work in P3D v 2.2?

Best regards,

Rene

Hello Rene,

Yes, It works for me - not without doing a couple of things:

1. I installed w/o using the EMT tool and it would just open/close in P3d -  yes, I did have a fsx.exe in the root of Prepar3D

2. I removed EzDoc, "enabled" EMT, and installed - it would open along with P3D, but once I clicked to bring up the EzDoc console - it would give me a box saying FSX-Handle=0, and

shut down -  I would then manually start EzDoc and it would do fine - THIS was with EMT enabled.

3. I then "dis-abled" EMT, fired up P3d, EzDoc loaded with P3D, and ALL IS WELL -

Go figure - don't know why I had that issue - But it works just fine now.

Yes,.

I just installed the P3Dv2.2 small update patch.

EZDOK setup was still working as it was prior to the update.

It would be a great for LM to incorporate EZDoc-like functionality in P3D.

Ezdok is working well in P3Dv2.2, there is an updated exe over in the Ezdoc forum.

working fine here, installed with EMT and update 1.17. no problems at all.

Worked fine when I had both FSX and P3D installed, now with only a newly installed P3D on a fresh Win 8.1 it no longer works. Using OpusFSX cameras instead and those work fine at least:)

I use EZdok with FSX and all versions of P3D.

No problem with EZdok.

I do not use any setup tools like Estonia or others.

But you will not tell us how you did it ?

From what I remember, you don't have to do anything but adding an extra .exe for P3D in your EZCA folder and start with the appropriate .exe depending on what sim you want to run.

Is Win8 approved by EZdok ?

Don't know, but I had EZCA working in Win 8 when I only used FSX, so maybe not supported, but at least working for FSX
