May 9, 201412 yr To think I've been all through my life and not experienced Sky King and the fabulous acting. Tell me loads of Oscars were handed out to everyone in that series! Sky King out. The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
May 9, 201412 yr They were sent the files on Monday. I have been in contact with them and it's fixed now. Apparently. As well, honestly, buying direct saves us grief and gives us an extra 8 to 45% in terms of income. Based on this I paid the fee to re-activate my downloads. Unfortunately the file I downloaded was still version C310R_v1.012011. I'm sure you have done all that you can do, so I will contact the re-seller for future support. Thanks. I'm getting a strong message here...Buy direct from Milviz save some grief. <_< I always thought buying from a re-seller was a great convenience for the buyer... one account, one purchase process, one location for all my purchases and downloads. Seemed like a good way to do business; and, after all, developers regularly offer their products through these outlets so I assumed it was a benefit to them as well. Win Win!! Apparently that is not true; at least not in this case, anyway. And, after realizng this my subsequent purchase was made directly. Live and learn, I suppose. Now, back to flying and Blue Skies!! May 9, 201412 yr Commercial Member There are good reasons to buy direct from the devs. Though you may not care about what amount of $ we end getting for each sale, for us, it matters a great deal. One point of sale company takes 35-40% off the top. That's a lot. Most take 30%. That's still a lot. This means we have to sell more or raise the prices. Or both. Breaking even or even profiting is hard. And this all comes down to.. If we make money we can make planes (or scenery or whatever ). If we don't , we're out of business. This happens a lot. So please, buy direct if you can. Thanks Please contact oisin at milviz dot com for forum registration information. Please provide proof of purchase if you want support. May 9, 201412 yr Tell me loads of Oscars were handed out to everyone in that series! Uhhhh! No! Kids like me had no votes. And NO girls were going to vote for Penny anyway! (though they might have voted for Clipper). Thanks Colin, I've always wondered if it would be possible for a developer to explain what occurs "behind-the-scenes" of a typical release A walk thru (perhaps via YouTube) that would explain all that is involved from product concept to release would be educational for a wide customer base. That said, I imagine this has not be done in the past for obvious competitive and company proprietary reasons. In any case, your comments are appreciated. Regards, Les Parson
