May 3, 201412 yr Commercial Member You bought a FSX product that YOU intended to use in P3D v2. Which, sorry to say, is illegal and out of EULA. Using it in FSX is perfectly valid and what THAT version is for. You're using the product out of Eula. No matter what you say (or do) that remains a fact and was disclosed to you when you installed the product AND as well, on our forums, here and on our FB page. It was CLEAR... not sure what else you want from us but... you're out of EULA if you keep on using it in V2. This isn't trying to extort money out of you or anyone else. This stuff costs MONEY and TIME and EFFORT. Please contact oisin at milviz dot com for forum registration information. Please provide proof of purchase if you want support. Ok well I'll delete the 310 along with the B55 from P3Dv2 and install it in FSX because I'm not paying for something that has had no changes made to it except patching if the whole plane was redone sure I'd pay full price for that but not for some EULA changes so I'll just use them in FSX. I was looking forward to the MU2 and the steam gauge version of the 350 but now I can assure you the 310 was my last purchase from Milviz and those funds will be given to Carenado who isn't charging me to use the plane I already bought just to be able to legally use it in V2!!! May 3, 201412 yr Moderator David, I personally spent well over three solid weeks improving both the FSX version and making the requisite changes to compile a P3Dv2.x specific version. This was time taken away from my work on the KA350i model. One cannot run the P3Dv2.x version in FSX because it's a totally different model format. In that respect it is a new version. There are other areas that P3Dv2.x has made possible that I fully intend to add over time at no additional cost to the customer. This is precisely the same situation that occurred during the FS9 to FSX transition. Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

May 3, 201412 yr And Bill has taken the words out of my mouth.... The V2 versions, the upgrades and the FSX versions are all for sale on our site... T-38A and C310R. I misunderstood the post on yal forums about allowing the use of the planes in P3DV2 "As of this moment, if you wish to use any of our existing products in P32D v2, that's ok. (if you already own them). However, from this point onwards, as we make new installers for our products, that EULA will change." I took it as if you already own the plane and are using it in V2 its ok to keep doing so but from now on you will have to choose P3dv2 or FSX when you buy a new plane but that's my fault for not asking yal to clarify that, I'm guessing what you meant was that you can use them for awhile until we make the new installers. May 3, 201412 yr Commercial Member Yes. that's exactly it. As new and newly updated products come online, the pricing and the product SKU will change such that V2+ and FSX will split further apart. In the end, sometime in the future, we will stop producing products for both. Please contact oisin at milviz dot com for forum registration information. May 3, 201412 yr hi thanks for the reply, what really annoyed me was to be not told that the update was not suitable for P3dv2.2 ,if you had stated that this was only for fsx I would not have wasted my time downloading ,removing the old version ,installing the new ,removing it etc ,if you charge for a genuine upgrade /improvement it does not bother me because I have a choice do I want this update/improvement or not,.I will if the aircraft is important to me pay for the update ,I paid for both Rex and the ifly 737 P3d update ,having seen the error,s that fsx aircraft are running with in p3d,all improvements greatfully recieved, so guys what improvements will I see for my 9.99 in the C310 in P3dv2.2, he asked exitingly peter
May 3, 201412 yr Commercial Member The improvements are defined by the fact that they're native V2 models. If you remember when the switch was being made from FS9 to FSX... these same questions were being asked... Speed, looks, feel and all that. As time goes on, and LM releases further versions and updates, these will enhance the product's value. We will, of course, be adding further value to all of our products. As well, at some point in the future, we will update the models to bring them up to tmrw's standards... May 3, 201412 yr Hi, Just a quick question regarding the latest C310R update: does it include the RXP support (similar to the Baron) Colin mentioned last year? Thanks, Tym
May 3, 201412 yr Hi, I just downloaded and installed the updated C310R. Received the direct link to the download via an e-mail from Kat. Download and installation all worked fine. Here is the problem I am having--I hope this is the correct place to post it. All of the exterior lights when they are on show up as "black squares" (landing lights, nav. lights, strobes & rotating beacon). The pulsating strobes are pulsating black squares. This is taking place during the daylight hours-have not yet flown this aircraft at sunset or night time; I did not have this problem with the original C310R. I am running FSX in Win 7 64 bit; I had to do a reinstall of FSX a while back, and did not reinstall my earlier version of the C310R. Any helpful suggestions on how to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Raymie
May 4, 201412 yr It wasn't a promise. It was a "we'll see if we can fix it". And no, sadly, not without removing the cool lights. It's a toss up and seeing as it only happens with a berg few customers, the decision was made to leave it as is. Really Odd Colin. I recall that the issue was more a function of an interaction between the landing lights the function of the raising and lowering of the landing gear. Not the lights themselves. ex. take off in daylight, head away from the sun into dusk into darkness. Issue clearly manifests itself. Slow to a snails pace. Lower and then raise the gear. Issue disappears. I just saw a post much later than mne by Ramie in this topic that appears to confirm display issues. Not an absolute issue with the lights, but perhaps an issue with the lights AND sequencing of the gear. I spent about 15 minutes digging back into threads here and private message exchanges between you and I and cannot confirm the promise, But I clearly in my mind recall it as a promise. I will not dig any further. I will just not fly your C310 late in the day, if ever, and trust that no one else wishes to do so as well. My screen captures exhibited earlier in this thread and in previous threads are what we would refer to in my industry as proof statements. May 4, 201412 yr Moderator All of the exterior lights when they are on show up as "black squares" (landing lights, nav. lights, strobes & rotating beacon). The pulsating strobes are pulsating black squares. Official support takes place in our dedicated customer forums*. All of the effect files (.fx) and their required textures are included and placed in the sim's ..\Effects and ..\Effects\Texture folder during installation. If they aren't being loaded initially, you might try issuing a "Reload Aircraft" command. I use the Options settings to assign Ctrl-Shift-R to that function. *Please contact roadburner440 at milviz dot com or info at milviz dot com for registration information. May 4, 201412 yr Paid my £6 ,downloaded in installed with no issues, strangely it appears to be sharper /clearer to view,I was just wondering if you tweaked the visuals in anyway,I have started using Nvidia inspector again, still tweaking the settings so please is it something you did to the texture,s or my fiddling with Nvidia Inspector making the difference, thanks for the update,so when are you doing the P3dv2.2 update for the b55? peter
May 4, 201412 yr Ermmm... Following up to my previous question, I've installed the update (SP3) and I can see that Reality XP is not yet supported. So, is this feature still on the table? Actually, most of the buttons/knobs work with a simple panel.cfg edit, but the outer main knobs of the 3D model take priority before the RXP gauges... Best regards, Tym
