May 15, 201412 yr Here are a few screenshots of my twitch livestreams of the last 2 weeks (in no particular order). I hope you enjoy them:
May 15, 201412 yr By far the BEST XP screenies I've seen anywhere so far! Jesse Casserly ✌🏼️ https://www.youtube.com/user/JesseCasserly757 💻 i7-10750H 2.6 GHz / 5.0 GHz, 16GB DDR4, 512GB SSD, 1TB HDD, RTX 2080 Super Saitek X-56 HOTAS
May 15, 201412 yr Would you mind putting up a screenie of your rendering options? I've got the same processor and a graphics card that at least equals yours and you seem to be getting better framerates which makes me wonder.
May 15, 201412 yr Thanks a lot for your kind words! I really enjoy X-Plane, its look, its feel, the sensation of flight it gives me... Please have a look at my YouTube channel www.youtube.de/schmeichel75 There you'll see the links to my twitch channel and to my Facebook page, where you will find all my settings within XPX, the values for the tweaked art controls, etc.
May 15, 201412 yr By far some of the best screenshots i have ever seen - from any flightsim so far! No kidding! Real stunners all the way! P.S.: And some great YouTube videos as well - certainly going to watch some of them whenever time allows it! Thank You very much for sharing! Enjoy flying and happy landings.
May 15, 201412 yr Thanks a lot for all these kind words! And the best of all: everyone can achieve this fantastic look without too much financial effort (most of what you see scenery-wise, is freeware or very affordable payware) It's the power of 64 bit, it's the beauty of X-Plane! (...as I like to say ;-) )
May 15, 201412 yr Lovely shots! Scenery, lighting and effects give it a great feel. I'm still back and forward between P3d and Xplane10 - seems this year we're seeing both make some pretty impressive strides. Danny Hicks
May 15, 201412 yr Shot 18 is hands down a realistic view for anyone who's looked at a international airport from altitude in a private plane. The depth in that shot is amazing. May 15, 201412 yr Shot 18 is hands down a realistic view for anyone who's looked at a international airport from altitude in a private plane. The depth in that shot is amazing. Right, the atmospheric scattering and the cloud shadows add just so much depth! I compared real world photos to the sim when I tweaked the art controls (for the scattering and shadows) and the settings in MaxxFX (for the contrast, brightness and colour appereance of the sim). Everybody´s taste is different, but I am really amazed by this very immersive look on each and every flight in XPX!
May 15, 201412 yr Moderator If anyone's interested and doesn't know already, the article about tweaking the lights in X-Plane is here http://forum.avsim.net/topic/433908-experimenting-with-art-controls-raleigh-scattering. It really makes such a huge difference to the sim (as seen in these screenshots), that it's worth having a read through
