September 11, 201411 yr I have send a support message to Wilco stating there are no instructions on how to turn on the panel lights and that the dimmers don't appear to work. I will post any answers I get.
September 12, 201411 yr I have the same bug as the reviewer CHT gauges shoot to the top of their range and stay there very very annoying Anyone else get this, it makes managing the rotax a bit of a joke. If it wasn't for this bug, then I would say it was worth the $23 AUD. Wait to see if they fix this bug. Lew HAL 9000....... When FMC's go bad........very bad
September 13, 201411 yr I have also sent to Wilco support 2 message because i can`t install Tecnam. Installer say all the time - impossible contact online registration, check your internet connection. I have very good connection, also disabled firewall and antivirus but nothing happened. After trying install several hours I give up and ask my money back because don`t have any explanation from Wilco support. I'm putting this comment here as a warning from Wilco support!
September 13, 201411 yr I'm sticking with the Ant's Tecnam's. The lack of glass is what killed it for me on the Wilco. Small detail for some I know, but we all have our pet peeves, and no glass is one of mine. Chris Strobel KSNA
September 14, 201411 yr I took a look at it via YouTube and the web. Never even heard of this airplane before so I had to do a bit of homework. For the aircraft itself: According to Flying Magazine, it flies very much like a C172 so learning how to handle it shouldn't be bad. I like the idea of a high-wing twin. The speed is a somewhat lower than a Cessna 210. Short take off and landing distance to get you in and out of small airports. (1250 ft. takeoff roll over 50 ft. obstacle.) For this simulation: The equipment list offered by Wilco looks excellent. A true IFR equipment list complete with an optional RMI. Watching the power-on of the avionics, it looked impressive...well done. I can't speak to how they actually work but, first glance, they look more done than Carenado offerings. I've heard awful things about Wilco so I'm really wondering about it. Gregg Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane. September 14, 201411 yr For some reason I could not install Tecnam to my PC because installer could not connect to Wilco registration page. But I tried install over my wife laptop (i did there fake simulator folder) and finally copy this to my PC, to simulator folder. And it works well in my P3DV2.3 and I like this plane. Of course it would be even more better if these bugs (transparent windows, cockpit lighting) corrected.

September 14, 201411 yr Really good online documentation available for this aircraft... POH Quick Reference Training manual Is that transponder really done that nice? As small a detail as it is, it is rare to see that. Here is the full written review for those of you who still may be unsure... http://www.airdailyx.net/wilco-tecnam-p2006t/ Well crap. I had some hope for a decent airplane. Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane. A great landing is when you can reuse it." i9 64GB RAM, GTX-5090

They announced an update is in the works on their Facebook page but they are not addressing all the issues. A few are complaining about the issues with the panel lighting, windshield, etc and how they are responding to the customers are representative of their bad customer service. In many cases they are just ignoring the complaints. They want you to go through the processes and complete the forms which are not at all necessary. https://www.facebook.com/WilcoPublishing?fref=ts
September 15, 201411 yr Well the reply to my problem with cht gauges going through the roof during flight and staying there was: we are not seeing this problem you, must have overstressed the engine watch this video of the engines at idle not overheating. This problem was mentioned in one of the reviews. Oh well, what did I expect ? Lew HAL 9000....... When FMC's go bad........very bad

If it wasn't for this bug, then I would say it was worth the $23 AUD. Wait to see if they fix this bug. The CHT issue is an easy fix if you have any kind of Air file editor. Nevertheless, it never should have been released this way. I bought it because the subject matter interested me enough to overlook it's many flaws. And it does have a lot of flaws, even at it's price point. Read the full written review at AirDailyX, it's very good.

September 22, 201411 yr I am testing it now. But if it's still bad, there is another P2006T in development now: http://www.airdailyx.net/fsnewsbreaker/2014/9/21/tecnam-p2006t-in-development-not-wilco
