September 26, 201411 yr CHT fixed with much help from Bob650 (much thanks) But can I please have someone who does NOT have the CHT bug try to overheat their CHT just to see where the problem is Cheers Lew HAL 9000....... When FMC's go bad........very bad
September 26, 201411 yr It looks like you get good visibility from that aircraft. On a side note, I noticed the somewhat "snaky" take off run in Rob's video. I assume that this is because you have a certain level of wind speed set? The problem I have with the wind in P3D is that even a light breeze (say 5 knots) seems to move even a rather large aircraft (like the Quality Wings 146) all over the place during the take off run. Is that normal? Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
September 26, 201411 yr Yes I have a very snaky take off as well with this AC in FSX don't know why Lew HAL 9000....... When FMC's go bad........very bad
September 27, 201411 yr I am talking about all aircraft in P3D. Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
October 7, 201411 yr I too have the CHT bug. (FSX) Oh and ground handling on landing seems a bit twitchy but that might be me. Looks nice enough from the outside and given the price point I don't feel that it's unfairly priced. I'm quite enjoying having a light twin that's different.
November 1, 201411 yr OK - this is probably very simple. I have v1.3 and cannot get the second door to open nor the engine cover to come off. I have tried the key strokes mentioned in the manual and have tried with everything shut down ... still no joy. Anyone able to help? Thanks! http://www.aviation-links.co.uk/ http://www.militaryaircraftmarkings.co.uk/
November 2, 201411 yr I noticed the somewhat "snaky" take off run in Rob's video. I assume that this is because you have a certain level of wind speed set? The problem I have with the wind in P3D is that even a light breeze (say 5 knots) seems to move even a rather large aircraft (like the Quality Wings 146) all over the place during the take off run. Is that normal? In my video I think it was either my wife or one of the cats distracting me ... but it is a little twitchy on the ground but at 1670 lbs empty and 2601 lbs max I would expect it to be pretty sensitive to wind. I've not noticed any issues with the QW 146 in winds ... I know there was a version of ASN that had a bug with wind speeds. I have tried the key strokes mentioned in the manual and have tried with everything shut down ... still no joy. Hmmm ... is this perhaps the fuel box bug? Getting to close to it and you can't open exits? As per my 19 series, I have a shot with engine cover and doors open (v1.3). Parking brake on? Cheers, Rob.
November 5, 201411 yr Twitchy ground handling seems the suspension is a little soft, have same issue, not sure how correct it is. Might need to check out some real vidieos.
November 6, 201411 yr In my video I think it was either my wife or one of the cats distracting me Rob, Is management not aware that entering the cockpit on the take off run is STRICTLY prohibited ??? :He He: :He He:
November 6, 201411 yr Rob, Is management not aware that entering the cockpit on the take off run is STRICTLY prohibited ? Oh they are aware ... and I'm certain it's on purpose ... one of our rescue kitties in action ... Cheers, Rob.
November 6, 201411 yr Hi Rob, I have two same colours (+ 5 other different cats + 1 dog) like yours. Below this is the type of message what I find in the notepad if I forget to close the door Cats writing sample : "gjcghlkm!jbhhdwnv vh,k bn;hl fxjnd;lkghcghwdb cvfjfxhg, kjfylkglhujlhkwdgsfcvghftyfgh" Regards, Richard Portier Richard Portier MAXIMUS VI FORMULA|Intel® Core i7-4770K [email protected] x8|NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080ti|M16GB DDR3|Windows10 Pro 64|P3Dv5|AFS2|TrackIr5|Saitek ProFlight Yoke + Quadrant + Rudder Pedal|Thrustmaster Warthog A10|
November 6, 201411 yr Have you de-coded the message yet? Our (wife and I) biggest weakness are the rescue shelters ... pretty much get there and say "we'll take them ALL" ... and then reality sets in. Heck we can't even watch those SPCA ads on TV -- have to leave the room. Some day we'll buy a big farm and I'll build my own airfield add experimental aircraft and have all the animals we can realistically support ... that's my goal. Cheers, Rob.
November 7, 201411 yr "Have you de-coded the message yet? :)" Not yet ;-) "Our (wife and I) biggest weakness are the rescue shelters ... pretty much get there and say "we'll take them ALL" ... and then reality sets in. Heck we can't even watch those SPCA ads on TV -- have to leave the room." The same for my wife and me ;-) "Some day we'll buy a big farm and I'll build my own airfield add experimental aircraft and have all the animals we can realistically support ... that's my goal." Great project ! February 6, 20188 yr Has anyone tried this one in P3Dv4? Their website says in bold red text, "Now available with a Prepar3D v4 installer :" and goes on to list the P2006T, among others. It's one thing to add an option in the installer to point at a particular sim but quite another to make the aircraft work properly. I think it's an interesting aircraft and have seen/touched a real one so wanted to fly it in the sim but also don't want to throw money away. No one else makes it so I'm willing to forgive some shortcomings. Please advise. Frank Safranek - Alphasim/Virtavia Paint Crew
