CHT fixed with much help from Bob650 (much thanks)

But can I please have someone who does NOT have the CHT bug try to overheat their CHT just to see where the problem is

Cheers

It looks like you get good visibility from that aircraft. On a side note, I noticed the somewhat "snaky" take off run in Rob's video. I assume that this is because you have a certain level of wind speed set? The problem I have with the wind in P3D is that even a light breeze (say 5 knots) seems to move even a rather large aircraft (like the Quality Wings 146) all over the place during the take off run. Is that normal?

I too have the CHT bug. (FSX) Oh and ground handling on landing seems a bit twitchy but that might be me.

Looks nice enough from the outside and given the price point I don't feel that it's unfairly priced.

I'm quite enjoying having a light twin that's different.

In my video I think it was either my wife or one of the cats distracting me ... but it is a little twitchy on the ground but at 1670 lbs empty and 2601 lbs max I would expect it to be pretty sensitive to wind.

I've not noticed any issues with the QW 146 in winds ... I know there was a version of ASN that had a bug with wind speeds.

I have tried the key strokes mentioned in the manual and have tried with everything shut down ... still no joy.

Hmmm ... is this perhaps the fuel box bug?  Getting to close to it and you can't open exits?  As per my 19 series, I have a shot with engine cover and doors open (v1.3).  Parking brake on?

Cheers, Rob.

Twitchy ground handling seems the suspension is a little soft, have same issue, not sure how correct it is. Might need to check out some real vidieos.

Rob, Is management not aware that entering the cockpit on the take off run is STRICTLY prohibited ???   :He He:  :He He:

Oh they are aware ... and I'm certain it's on purpose ... one of our rescue kitties in action ...

Hi Rob,

I have two same colours (+ 5 other different cats + 1 dog) like yours. Below this is the type of message what I find in the notepad if I forget to close the door

Have you de-coded the message yet?  :)

Our (wife and I) biggest weakness are the rescue shelters ... pretty much get there and say "we'll take them ALL" ... and then reality sets in.  Heck we can't even watch those SPCA ads on TV -- have to leave the room.

Some day we'll buy a big farm and I'll build my own airfield add experimental aircraft and have all the animals we can realistically support ... that's my goal.

Cheers, Rob.

Not yet ;-)

The same for my wife and me ;-)

Sadly no joy here.

Have contacted Wilco but nothing from them to resolve this yet either.

Has anyone tried this one in P3Dv4?  Their website says in bold red text, "Now available with a Prepar3D v4 installer :" and goes on to list the P2006T, among others.

It's one thing to add an option in the installer to point at a particular sim but quite another to make the aircraft work properly.

I think it's an interesting aircraft and have seen/touched a real one so wanted to fly it in the sim but also don't want to throw money away.

No one else makes it so I'm willing to forgive some shortcomings.

Please advise.
