I can't really help you buddy. I had that uiautomationcore crash months ago, that was because i removed it from FSX. I soon retured the correct version and the crashes went away.

 

 

That PMDG can be many things, for me it was when i had my saitek spoiler leaver away from the up position and when i hit fly now to start FSX it crashed!

 

Just a suggestion but why not start clean and visit NICK N guides on how to optimize windows 7 and over clocking a haswell?

 

I just done his OC guide a week ago and i have to say why didn't i follow his haswell guide a long time ago. Now my CPU runs at 40 GHZ cpu cache of 40 V1.12 and the temp are 45C

 

My FSX is now clear and smooth with this OC and i wont be using my OC settings i got with my build WHAT A JOKE the temp were up at 60C volts at V1.30 thats why i was getting random crashes because these so called computer techs didn't have a clue on how to OC a haswell unlike Nick Needham.

 

OC is an art that i have learnt its, its not just following some video and pressing buttons. Its actually quite interesting if you sit down and read nicks guide.

Can you not get OS7 instead of windows 8?

Not giving up, I finally got rid of the stackhash crashes by simply deleting the fsx.cfg, dll.xml and exe.xml. After having installed the PMDG 737NGX the only CTDs I have are caused by:

 

PMDG_737NGX.DLL 1.0.0.0 and uiautomationcore.dll. Note that for the uiautomationcore dll crash, I had it with and without it being present in the FSX folder.

Yes, finally! So, something in your fsx.cfg, dll.xml (those are your fsx modules) were causing your StackHash. My research has indicated that the PMDG_737NGX.dll ctd is caused by a problem with your throttle/controller settings or driver. If you are using fsuipc.dll to set your throttle/controller, disable that and use the software drivers that came with your controller. Of course, you already know what is causing the uiautomationcore.dll crash. There is no such thing as a dll like the uiautomationcore.dll that is the holy grail for fixing all of FSX crashes. Leave it out of your folder. Problem with that module is that many put in the wrong version in their main fsx folder. I had it in my folder (unknowingly) once and I was getting constant crashes. I found out a software program was installing a version in my main fsx folder and after removing the dll, no more crashes.

You are right about the throttle/controller settings causing CTDs. I had issues where my yoke was not getting detected by FSX when I'm using the NGX. So I'll get FSUIPC and see if that helps. The crash also happened two times when I was exiting FSX to the main menu. For uiautomatiocre dll I'll just leave it out of the FSX folder as I don't know which version to use. 

 

Anyway for the first time in a month FSX did run over an hour without crash!

I'm keeping windows 8 in hope that's going to be the best platform for Prepar3D.

Seeing the specs of your pc I think you shouldn't have the problems you mentioned. I only tweeked as PMDG suggested in the PMDG 777-200LR/F Introduction and Use and have no problems whatsoever. Be aware not to overstress the system when using demanding sceneries like (IMHO) there is Aerosoft EHAM etc. I encountered problems when detailing to much at these environments.

Hi Ben, 

You are right, even though I have not overclocked, I'm quite happy with the FPS I'm getting right now. I wished demanding sceneries would only affect the VRAM and not the CPU as well that way my 6gb video card would've been more useful with FSX!

It's looks all good for now. I've found a uiautomationcore.dll that seems to work fine now. I've flown for 3 hours without a CTD so I'd mark this as solved for the time being.

Carefull, i don't want to burst your bubble. But crashes can happen after days or weeks not just 3 hours.

 

I had a nightmare of crashes months ago the odd kernelbase.dll popped up 2 weeks ago, so i decided to run a driver updater (a link from jim on here) and found a few outdated drivers and bingo crash free for 2 weeks now.

D***... that took a long time for you to solve

You will have to reduce autogen, toad traffic etc. Allthough P3F is also 32bit, LM manahef to get some of the autogen to the graphicscard which reduces the use of the VAS [allocated memory] I know it is frsutrating that FSX does this, nut it is the way it is. Iff you want less crashes [virtua;;y none] turn to P3D.

Well it used to happen every 5mn now I have flown more than 10 hours without any crashes. Though I have issues with windows 8 or FSX disabling my yoke.

Thanks bud, I have just purchased PHPX, PMDG 777-3, FS2crew PMDG 777, ASN, FSUIPC just to get back in the game!

Yeah, that's limiting the amount of RAM it can use also. I hope LM will bring a 64bit of P3D soon.
