Featured Replies

Hi,Can anybody recommend a little buissines jet for regional flights (payware or freeware). I like it to be high-fidelity but not too difficult to fly.BRLars

IMHO (of course)You can't go wrong with the Citation X from Eaglesoft. I have not found a business jet as comfortable to fly as this wonderful aircraft.Blue Skies,Vince CarloPensacola, FLHome of our Beloved US Navy Blue Angels:-wave

If a turbo-prop is also acceptable, the PMDG B1900C would fit the bill nicely. Very nicely put together and easy to handle. And at an attractive price :-)

I would say the CRJ-200 from posky is awsome, or the Eaglesoft CJ1, both are great planes

It's a little bigger than a business jet, but the DreamWings ERJ 135 and 14xs are nice aircraft.----------------------------------------------------------------John MorganReal World: KGEG, UND Aerospace Spokane Satillite, Private ASEL 141.2 hrs, 314 landings, 46 inst. apprs.Virtual: MSFS 2004"There is a feeling about an airport that no other piece of ground can have. Eaglesoft Citation II is the one I decided on. But the instrumentation may be too old for you (tape gauges and steam), in which case a CJ1 would be the thing.

Just go to the eaglesoft site. There are a few great biz jets.Dave Fisher

On the freeware side, a Lear 25 has just surfaced over at Simviation. I haven't tried it yet, but it has a VC and the external model looks nice. -John

HiI can only speak about the Citation X by Eaglesoft.Com.I find this plane very easy to fly great graphics, and responds very well to your imputs.I did a flight via Sb3 to KATL this afternoon and the controller had me do a visual approach which I have never tried with the Citation and handled extremely well. I was able to touch down on the numbers. This plane still incorborates the Default Auto Pilot which I find works very well.Good luckKenny G.

Eaglesoft's jets are all great. Their Beechjet doesn't get mentioned often, but it is another fine aircraft and another easy hand flyer--and it comes packaged with the Premier. I have the Beechjet/Premier, CJ-1, and C-II. All are fun to fly as well as being the best examples of the living, breathing art that I think aircraft design is.-John

HiThank's for suggestions so far. I've got two questions about the Citation models from Eaglesoft:(1)On the screenshot from Eaglesoft's Citation models the panel's and gauges seems a little difficult to read. They dont look shar and clear. Is this just bad screenshots or is the 2D/VC panels in the Citation models like that?? (2)Is the Eaglesoft's Citation X not a long distance buisiness jet not suitable for short distances??BRLars

a Lear 25 has just surfaced..........Yea, I still like the Learjets for a quick hopper...I actually prefer the 31 and 35, but have all the models...I'll check out that new one...None of mine have VC's, except for the stock 45...I made my own panels for the 31 and 35....2D tho...If I bought payware, that eaglesoft citation X would probably be one of the first on my list...I had the Citation X on previousversions of FS, but the old models won't work with 2004..I like that plane, as it's faster than a scalded housecat at cruise. Bit quicker than the lears which I usually run at about mach .77 or so...I use to run the X at about mach .88, plus or minus....Top end about mach 90-92..Moving on down the road... :)BTW, I saw a recent freewarelear 35 and panel, if any are interested...No VC though..MK

I can't believe no one has mentioned the freeware Eclipse 500.
