November 14, 201411 yr I can confirm this is one hell of a bird... easily one of the best add ons in flight simulation, and hands down the best airbus one currently out there. Phil Long
November 14, 201411 yr Still not sure i understand the difference to the Extended version. Is this a completely new build from the ground up? The Extended gave me so much grief that it gave up on it in the end. November 16, 201411 yr Haven't bought the A320/321 update version yet, but do I need to uninstall the older A320 Extended version first before installing the update? Yes, uninstall Extended before installing the new one. Edit: http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/87693-removing-airbus-extended/
November 16, 201411 yr Yes, uninstall Extended before installing the new one. Thank you, I thought so. Jan Betlach
November 16, 201411 yr I have the new 319 which I find just excelent WHY should I get the 320? Is it improved over the 319, which I doubt much Is it only for the added liveries/models? which I can do without

Is it improved over the 319, which I doubt much Is it only for the added liveries/models? which I can do without I guess that is the million dollar question, I was thinking the same then I got the bundle, I fly for a virtual airline so it i s nice to have the flexibility of choosing various models on various routes I am seeing great performance with the 318/319 & 320/321 with ASN & UT2 at 100% I have a pretty decent machine which makes a huge difference. I once thought about P3D but I have to say I am really enjoying my FSX experience at the moment. I just picked up Pro-ATCX too and I think I found the final piece of the immersion factor that was missing. November 16, 201411 yr Really a case of personal preference. I like being able to fly the complete Airbus series, with the A318/319 for shorter trips, and the A320/321 for longer flights - but if you are happy with the A319, there is no compelling reason to add the A320. One really nice feature of the new 320, is better frame rates. Most people who own both Aerosoft products have seen a 4 to 6 FPS increase with the 320 compared to the 319 in identical airport/weather scenarios. This is due to additional "fine tuning" and optimizations that Aerosoft made in the new model. These improvements wil be added to the 318/319 in an upcoming service pack, so you will want to be sure to install that SP for your 319 when it becomes available. November 16, 201411 yr IMO....apart form the unneeded increase in liveries, your mention of a longer range and a fine tuning, is indeed the type of information that can be used to lean my decision towards acquiring the 320 upgrade

November 16, 201411 yr IMO....apart form the unneeded increase in liveries, your mention of a longer range and a fine tuning, is indeed the type of information that can be used to lean my decision towards acquiring the 320 upgrade I belong the the FlyingTigers VA group, and though they encompass multiple r/w airlines, flying multiple aircraft, my "home" airline there is JetBlue, which pretty much makes having a 320 a "must" for accurately emulating r/w JBU flights. I pre-purchased the new 320 as part of the bundle with the 318/319, which gave a substantial discount. Now that it has been released, I think the 320 is still available at a discounted price if you already own the 318/319. What I am eagerly looking forward to now is an Aerosoft A330, as they are so widely used on long-haul international routes.
