But without the required VAT?  Still wondering if they included any area around the KIAH airport.

But without the required VAT?

In my country I have to pay 19% VAT so this offer is not a big deal. Ergo no purchase.

I really don't understand why FSDT products are not discounted at shops which do not charge VAT. E.g. PCAviator. I really wanted to buy KLAS and LSGG but I will not buy them with VAT. Bad luck for FSDT...

I did not have to pay VAT purchasing from SimPlanet.  Just purchased the KLAS for US$ 19.77.  There was not VAT!

Not quite! Just checked their site, most of their sceneries are only %15 off. KIAH has no discount, and it looks like there's VAT charged on every sale, whether there is VAT in your country or not!

SimPlanet is still a better deal.

SimPlanet is still a better deal.

Prices on SimPlanet are indeed much better than on their website. Even including VAT (which SimPlanet charges for EU citizens). Strange pricing policy...

The 30% off at FSDT is valid for all products, but removing VAT isn't optional for some odd reason. That being said, the SimPlanet deal saves another $4-5 roughly..  Nice find!

I agree, I just picked up Geneva for $17.99 Us.  By buying at FSDT with 30% off $32usd  woud have cost over $22 usd.  Trying to decide if I should go ahead and pick up Hawaii Int for $19.69.

i just bought a couple, but the downloaded files are named FSX or FS9, no mention about P3D - Will the FSX download give me a P3D install option?

I'll find out tomorrow when I try it, but would be nice to know in advance what to expect.

Yes it will, it will give a popup dialog stating P3D found, do you want to install there? Say "no" and it will install the FSX version,if you have both programs installed.
