Zinertek - HD Airport Graphics

Featured Replies

Very tempting, it looks nice enough thanks for the shots  but doesn't HD mean 4096 textures with a impact to the framerate ? And using P3D, does it show the goods  if you set the textures at 1024 ?

Yes you can set P3D texture  lower they will still be there

If I own REX4, is it worth it to buy this? It seems to cover a bunch of the same bases.

Was wondering the same thing.I would basically end up using this program just for the buildings.

The runways and aprons and taxi signs too all push the default airports up a notch. Its a fantastic product .

Although I do fly bush planes in my favourite regions, I also fly all across the globe, and from week to week I don't know where I'll be going. This software is great, I can set up a flight in the middle if Africa, for example, and I'm not going to see the same blank grey runways and aprons, and the same grey office-block terminal. It makes flying worldwide more enjoyable.

Yes, but the Wagga tower is not depicted even if it is almost never used. I wonder if the piggery on the south side shows up!

I found several problems with the runways textures, expecially in rain...had to remove it, love the airport buildings do, someone knows how can we install the buildings without the runnways?

Tempting of course, sharp... true! But does it look real?

If one think that FS9 gave a perfect impression of reality, then this program is very good. But to me it looks like a stage set. For instance, rounded objects appear somewhat angular... which form me is really a killing factor.

To be short, no feeling of immersion. But that's just my opinion, and everyone's tastes might be quite different.

Yes, I use it for some things (mainly to replace default buildings and vehicles) but for other textures, REX is much better.

What this addon really needs is a GUI, where you can select what you want to install and what you don't want to install.

I hope they'll add that in a forthcoming version.

over write them with rex - done

Thats what i call double help ;) Done it already and the problem is solved.

Thanks again Richard!
