Love your work Henrik! Thank you so much, I lost somehow the track of all packages (aware of the first page here :-)) any chance of one big package one day?

 

Some other things, some wakes still are flickering, even with new wake effects....

In my experience, the add-on works just fine in V3 and the performance impact is negligible. Make sure you use the fixed P3D 2.5 effects. The only issue I've noticed is that the "fx_wake_haa_orla.fx" file still causes the vertical wake issue, if it happens in your case, just delete the first two occurrences of:

TempRate=0.01

Hi Jason,

You find them in the effect folder in the effect fx_wake_haa_orla.fx - you can edit with notepad. If you are not familiar with the process - make a backup first, but it is simple. Search "TempK" - you will get several lines - just delete the two you see above. The corrected file text will look like the one below.

Just took off from Catalina facing towards Los Angeles  I noticed 3 boats all duplicate. any thoughts?

 

Hi - this is typically caused by changing plane during flight or after start-up from a saved flight.

But all in all I believe the update has a great potential for ships in P3D, but to take advantage of it might mean a lot of work - just the small addition to the effects that you indicate means checking more than a 100 effect files each consisting of up to 12 - 14 particles... And each file has to be tested properly afterwards... Count 20 minutes per file minimum...

I guess you run P3Dv3.1 with water at ultra setting? There is a problem with certain ships if you run water at ultra. Some are litterally thrown out of the water.... Others are just sinking... The water also creates problems for some pilotable ships due to increassed drag. We are looking into it but for the moment the solution is to turn down your water display settings a bit.

You are right. Just turned water down to high and problem is gone.
