think I'm newly addicted to Photoreal scenery. I've enjoyed ORBX a lot, but this photoscenery is good stuff!

High resolution photoscenery....game changer....will not run on a 7200rpm HDD (blurries).

I flew the Malibu Jetprop to KHQM from The Dalles just for a change of pace. I must have been on a roll last night because I turned around and flew it back to The Dalles, picked up the Duke again and flew back to KHQM. Much quicker the second time around

So then I decided to hit KCMW Cushman followed by 2S1 Vashon this evening

Vashon was fun, lol. Nothing like a pair of turbines in full reverse to wake up the natives. I made it but not much room to spare.

You had to buy RAID in the old days. Now intel gives it away for free. It permitts you to run all the scenery ever made for FSX.

Hey guys, I have been back at the world trip in the Turbine Duke Alae Abundia

After a couple of days on Corfu Island, Greece LGKR, lots of night flying, first stop Aqaba, Jordan OJAQ

Next Aqaba, Jordan OJAQ to Abu Dahbi, UAE OMAA

PILOT-PC-2015-feb-15-001.th.jpg PILOT-PC-2015-feb-15-003.th.jpg PILOT-PC-2015-feb-15-002.th.jpg

I was originally going to Mumbai but enroute decided to go to Amritsar. I really like the GTN's ease at altering flight plans on the fly.

Here is Abu Dhabi, UAE OMAA to Amritsar, India VIAR

Finally a night run from Amritsar, India VIAR to Kathmandu, Nepal VNKT

PILOT-PC-2015-feb-16-003.th.jpg PILOT-PC-2015-feb-16-009.th.jpg PILOT-PC-2015-feb-16-008.th.jpg

Next going to make a run up to Lukla during the daylight, I am curious if the Turbine Duke can really go where the Twin Otters go.  It's airports like St Barts, Saba, Lukla that really make the Turbine Duke a gem on this trip.

Cheers

TJ
