Before I started the thread, I already had FTX Norway in mind. I'd read a lot of good things about it and saw some lovely Youtube videos so when the recommendations came in this thread, that sealed the deal for me! BIG thanks for the Airports of Norway recommendation too. I can't believe the quality of those airports. Absolutely incredible.

 

I was interested in Australia too. A full country (albeit a rather 'old' product) but I have yet to fly in Australia and buying the region might just tempt me to fly there. Again, there were some recommendations, so I got it.

 

THEN I thought, well it's a sale I should pick up my home country of England too. I fly there quite a lot in the sim so it made sense. But then I got worried. I do a lot of short hauls in the Q400 and 737 from England to Scotland and occasionally Ireland. If I buy FTX England won't the sudden change in scenery stick out like a sore thumb? in short, my 'mild' case of OCD kicked in and that meant I had to pick up England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic  :blush:

 

So I went from no Regions and No payware airports to a LOAD of regions, Incredible freeware airports for Norway and 1 Payware in the guise of Cardiff.

 

Stick a fork in me, I'm done!

What 'd you choose for the first North american region? Norcal or CRM?

I like the fact that CRM is different, not the traditional place with lots of green and trees, but its so vast that i am scared to get lost there

Like you Neil, following the thread you started, I picked up Norway, Palm Springs, Lake Tahoe, some UK, NZ: North and Queenstown. Already had EU:England,Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Aussie main airports. A great big thanks to Orbx.
