Thanks Poppet, must be something wrong with my system then because I  just tried to quote you and still get the blank page, I did just download IE 11 and have noticed a few odd things! No biggie!

Thanks - Martin

No probs. I only use Google Chrome, never had a problem with it.

Yep, it works fine with Firefox, must be a setting in IE 11.

Cheers

If anyone else has IE11, can you please confirm if you have compatibility issues?

Sincerely,

I deliberately rolled back from IE11 because of this very problem, Chase. It's very simple to do by using the Control Panel to "uninstall IE11" and it will revert instantly to IE10.

Chase - Quote isn't working with Windows 10 Edge either. I tried it with this post. This has been a problem with IE for a long time. Sometimes it worked and then sometimes it didn't. I have tried to copy and paste also in the past and it wouldn't work properly.

I think there is something in the server software that just doesn't like MS browsers.

As you can see, I was able to copy and post your post but it doesn't credit the post as yours.

Thank you.

Thanks guys, yeah, I don't see any fix to Windows 10 Edge or IE11 from our end unless the IPB makers include it in an update.  That level of compatibility tends to be deep coded into the framework.  I don't want to make any false promises, but similar to countless browser upgrades in the history of the web, things naturally tend to evolve to support them.

One problem I recently discovered. Now, when trying to access the forums at work (ONLY during my scheduled break times of course ), the corporate IT firewall blocks anything on Avsim.com, as it is considered a "games" site. It never blocked Avsim.net however, so I was always able to browse the forums with the old forums.avsim.net URL.

RATs! (get it?)  Sorry about that.  Looks like productivity will be going up

Sincerely,

Chase
