Installed it, selected the FSX directory but decided not to go forward. The UI did not give me a reliable feeling. So I deleted it.

 

But, when I started FSX next to the selected aircraft it mentioned there was no Reshade effect selected. When ignoring that, the text was still in my left hand upper corner when the flight started.

I hate that! Do not temper with my FSX installation!

 

I finally found and removed two files from the top FSX directory that solved it, but be careful. When trying it, it may result in unwanted messages until you manually remove the installed dxgi.dll and reshade file.

Yes Richard. I just started over with the new framework. They changed file nomenclature so rather than bang my head against a wall I thought I would start fresh. Looking good so far. I will post some shorts shortly.

Some really nice effects. The motion_focus is one of my favs

Great to finally see a 1.0.  We should probably start a consolidated 1.0+ settings thread to share our own effects.

I tried the new version and selected some of the same effects I had with the older version. The same effects were very different in the new version and also the new version would not hold in windowed mode (sometimes it worked, most times it did not and the old version was rock solid). So I am back to the older version and it works perfectly.
