September 16, 201510 yr I change views on 777lr Please proofread your posts. fax 32 bit What does this mean? If you are using Windows 8.1 32bit, when FSX crashes you have probably used all of your VAS that was available. Switching views just sucks the available memory right down the drain. Did your hear any dings prior to the crash? Did you receive any message at the time of the crash saying you were out of memory? A 32bit OS has 3GB of VAS and a 64bit OS has 4GB of VAS. Check your Event Viewer to see if there is any information about the crash. We need to identify to your problem to fix it. A crash is the sympton of a problem and not the problem itself. We need more information. Michael Cubine

September 21, 201510 yr I have accessed event viewer can you please advice me what to look out for in order to find the error source on the crash? Event Viewer, Overview and Summary pane opens on selecting Event View. Three smaller sections, top; one being Summary of Administrative Events where you are going to look for Error events. Expand the Error events if you have any and now you are looking for (usually) for Application events. If you check after the event it is easier to find because there should be few events for past hour. The Event ID can be used in a Google search. Three is also additional information if you double click on one of the events listed. If you are using a 32b OS as asked and not answered then that is probably your problem. The product page for the PMDG 777 lists a 64b OS as a minimum requirement. Dan Downs KCRP

September 22, 201510 yr Author I am yet again experiencing crashes with a green dialogue box appearing stating a fatal error has appeared and when I checked event viewer it states Kernal as critical source of error.
September 22, 201510 yr This whole thread will be deleted if you don't sign your posts. The Kernel is the core of Windows and probably indicates a more serious issue with your system. Wes Meyer
