October 14, 201510 yr Author Thanks to all who tried to help. After searching hi and low for things to "try" and trying them and going through the efforts at other forums (LM, Natural Point) I just decided to do a clean install of Win 10 and reload P3dV3 and will slowly add in the add-ons. Good news is TIR worked as soon as I loaded the simconnect files after installing P3dV3. Wasn't a huge deal...though I would have liked to have figured out the "why". I primarily had just P3d on the PC and was looking at having to reload and download all the P3dv3 updates (ASN, ORBX, etc)
June 8, 20169 yr Has anyone seen any solutions since this issue was first discussed? I had a coputer for 5 yrs, where I installed FSX, XP, FSX SE, and P3D. TrackIR worked fine. I just upgraded and got a brand new system from Jetline with P3D v3.2 already installed. I added XP and installed the latest Track IR software followed by the camera. It's fine on XP but P3D just doesn't do anything with TrackIR. I ran all the simconnect steps too. I'm out of ideas. I love the extreme speed and smoothness of my new system with P3D runnning but really miss TrackIR's capabilities. Would welcome any new suggestions to get it working in P3D. Cheers! Not familiar with opus. Are you running the both the TrackIr software and P3D as administrator ? June 9, 20169 yr Moderator Have you tried rolling back to an earlier driver? Do you have anything displaying in the P3D window title bar other than the p3d title - like FSUIPC vas, etc? I have seen cases where having something displaying in the title bar (other than normal) when TIR is started will prevent it from working. Starting the "other" program after starting TIR works just fine. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

June 9, 20169 yr Hi Luis, What key do you use pause TrackIR? Might there be a conflict with a key mapping in P3D, FSUIPC or some other running program? -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe
June 9, 20169 yr Hi Luis, What key do you use pause TrackIR? Might there be a conflict with a key mapping in P3D, FSUIPC or some other running program? F9 to pause SOLVED! It didn't work the first time, but in the following order 1) Run TRI as admin and 2) run P3D as admin Thanks all! Cheers!
