Thanks much for the extensive early look at SoCal, Rob.

I'm going to go out on a limb and maybe get myself into a bit of a dustup. Anyway, based on my 2 decades in photogrammetry and photogrammetric image processing, the most natural color balance in FSX/P3D photoscenery I've personally seen is Ultimate VFR. Here is a sample from their upcoming California scenery. It is still a bit on the gray/green side of things but is much closer to all the colormetric measurements I've made while being tossed around inside a C337.

As a PS enthusiast, I'd say Ultimate VFR is some of the best commercial scenery around.  Even and consistent textures, good color.  It's obvious they took the time to enhance it.

Hi Martin,

No, didn't check out furnace creek ... lots of locations I'll explore more, but it's still Beta with more adjustments to come.

Cheers, Rob.

Rob...can you check...does the region have Zuma Beach modeled?  That's the beach I camped/existed out on, as a kid...  I'd love to see a vid of it....also...what about the canyons...between the coast and the Valley...   Does Coldwater  and Laurel Canyon exist?

It's too bad that Disney won't let ORBX create Cinderella's Castle...that would bring Disneyland as virtual.

Does Beverly Hills/Rodeo Drive...have star mansions? :)
