FedEx needs your help!

Hey Guys,

Grab your favorite freighter and help FedEx with the record package delivery crunch this holiday season!

They have contracted many other freight companies to handle the Christmas load (within the flightsim world, not in real life as far as I know...but they DO rent U-haul trucks in real life...saw it in the news).

Here is Steve helping out with an Evergreen 777F from KPHL to KLAX...DHL is lending a hand too...they have us all up and down the ramp

Here is my next effort to lend a hand....Atlas about to haul several hundred tons of Christmas packages from KSEA to KMEM.

I saw Pinlifter hauling with Centurion a bit ago, maybe that big orange (or is it dark yellow?) 777F will join in and help a beleaguered FedEx fleet!

Let's see you freight dogs step up, and those who typically fly flesh bags ...errr...passengers...grab a freighter and get those packages delivered and make everyone's Christmas a little happier!

I'm sorry. EIA went from being a great cargo company and then edged it's way into the toilet makes me sad looking at this fictitious aircraft simulate PEAK week at UPS/FDX. I lost my job at EIA 2 days after N491 had 2 engines reep-ed by P&W at JFK.

The loss of that job was the loss of my 10 years of flight operation/dispatch career. Del Smith was a crook with the way he used credit. EIA on the day they closed had 750 million $$ in credit judgements but Del had the last 747-4 flown to Victorville and then walked away from everything. Sadly YOU and I are indirectly paying for it.

Sorry for venting on your thread. I still am dealing with the pain.

Sorry to hear that Randy.  I painted her knowing nothing about the internal strife going on within the company, I just painted her by request and like freighters in general.  I hope you've recovered and are still in the aviation industry, I had to leave it long ago for similar reasons.

Eastern was my favorite airline growing up, and I was planning on getting a job with them when I got out of the Navy, but they went out of business much like many airlines, mainly due to horrible, greedy management, its just the way the airline industry seems to be.

Great pics again guys, glad to see everyone pitching in!

Rick, love the Lufty MD-11, reminds me I have to do some Lufthansa 777F flights in my modified paint of her.

That's a great supportive post, Steve. On a day like today, to feel somebody else's pain and share it says a a lot for the kindred spirits herein.

Thanks for the compliment. Much appreciated coming from an artist like you.

When I was at BA, I always thought Eastern would be one of those long-lasting airlines, just as I thought Pan-Am, TWA would be. I was soon to be disillusioned, just a you probably were.

Hope your Xmas Day is going well.
