Ft Myers FL to NYC (LGA)

Featured Replies

I haven't flown an airliner in years, I'm more of a GA guy. However, I've flown in the MD80 many times. I hate them because it feels to crammed inside when your 6' 3".  Anyhow, flying them in a sim is always a pleasure.

Here is a flight from KRSW to KLGA. I did this flight 2X and these shots are a combo of both.

Nice shots.  What MD-80 model is this?  I am assuming you are using X-Plane 10?

Beautiful shots Rob!! Xplane10?

Yes. This is obviously the RotateSim MD-80 ( http://store.x-plane.org/Rotate-MD-80_p_441.html )

Southwest Florida International ( http://store.x-plane.org/KRSW--Southwest-Florida-International-Airport-_p_436.html )

Drzewieckis New York City ( http://secure.simmarket.com/drzewiecki-design-new-york-city-xp-for-x-plane-10-%28de_9766%29.phtml )

and Drzewieckis New York Airports ( http://secure.simmarket.com/drzewiecki-design-new-york-airports-xp-%28de_8957%29.phtml ).

At least I think it is.

Awesome shots and an awesome bird!

I'm just going to jump out there and say that the Rotatesim MD-80 is THE most realistic handling airliner for any sim platform.

If you're like me and enjoy hand flying your big jets, this is the one to get!

XP10 is worth getting just for this aircraft.

Very nice shots!
