Ryan, call me noob, but how can i follow the vertical path of the GS ILS without any gauges like a cessna? I'm sure i'm missing something

 

I don't see the HSI having a bar for the vertical path.. Only the lateral

True, do 2 barrel rolls, 2 loops and one high speed pass at your local airport. Land, Park it, get a cup and coffee, answer all the questions about that good looking Lancair Legacy on the ramp and see if you don't have a better outlook.

Mine are comparable to any recent GA addon.... A2A Comanche, Carenado King air etc

Mine are real good also. Maybe 55 - 65 FPS in Orbx Global running unlimited.

Back to Baytower, if I can resuscitate this thread.  The support forum has closed down.  I haven't flown this beauty in a while (I bought it way back during beta days).  It was one of my old favorites.  I just haven't flown FSX much lately.  

 

But today, I wanted to take her out for a spin.  I fly FSX-MS with Steve's DX10 fixer.  It's always worked fine for me.  Today, everytime I selected it, it CTD, even if I started in another plane and switched to it. 

 

So, I uninstalled and installed again (latest version 1.06.08).  This time it started briefly and then crashed.  Then, after trying again, started up fine.  However, there was no canopy, wings, or tail feathers.  Battery switch wouldn't work.  

 

I know the configurator has some fix for this, but when I unlock and click fix, the configurator crashes.  

 

This is getting pretty frustrating.  

 

Any old hands around here might know what the heck is going on?  I never had any problems with it before.  

The only thing that comes to mind is P3D related. It crashes in P3D until you comment out 'gauge02=btsRV7!gtx327' which is in two places in Tip-Up and Slider in both RV7 and RV7a

 

Other than that, the hated words 'works fine for me'.   

Yeah, always did for me too.  Can't imagine what is going on, although I do seem to recall some issues with DX10 on the support forum.  Too bad that's not available any more.  What a shame.  It's a great plane, but totally unusable for me now, and although I've gotten my money's worth out of it, when you pay a pretty penny for an add-on, you expect it to continue working in the same sim you bought it for.
