April 14, 201610 yr Author Commercial Member Is it possible to make even darker clouds shadows ? I mean to go less then 0.1 to negtive ? Why do you want to go to such extremes? Even at 0.1, terrain shadows are pitch black, even on my bright setup. Of course it depends on altitude and visibility, but I think that 0.1 is too much in most situations. I plan to include 0.2 as the lowest value you can choose in the config tool (strong preset). It is great. However, in some VC's the windscreen are bright and sometimes i cant even notice when i am under cloud. April 14, 201610 yr Author Commercial Member It is great. However, in some VC's the windscreen are bright and sometimes i cant even notice when i am under cloud. It would be cool if you can post example screenshot. But as I said, cloud shadow darkness/intensity depends directly of various stuff, like visibility, hdr settings (higher bloom setting will cause more contrast), and even windscreen (cockpit reflection and transparency). Most users are having shadows at 0.5 or even at 0.75. I'm settled at 0.2 and sometimes I experience same "issues" as you. So the bloom actually disguise it to white again. MSFS2020, 24, Fenix A320, Ryzen 9 9950X3D, ASUS TUF RTX 5090 ,G.SKILL 64GB 6000MHz CL28

Now i repleced it to original and its back to normal but now the clouds visible at night again... MSFS2020, 24, Fenix A320, Ryzen 9 9950X3D, ASUS TUF RTX 5090 ,G.SKILL 64GB 6000MHz CL28

I will include version with normal white clouds during the day, and dark during night. April 14, 201610 yr Only children think clouds are white (and simmers need to look out of the window now and then) Great work Pe11e, I look forward to seeing what you compiled and tweaked. I think P3D will never have looked so good.
April 14, 201610 yr Stupid question, can I use this with REX4 and Reshade? Yes no problem doing that Rich Sennett

April 16, 201610 yr Hey! I've been following this thread, but now I am kind of lost... Where can I get the latest files? The Dropbox link shows as being 9 days old, so what changes does it include that were talked about in the last 4 pages? Rich keeps saying the mod is not quite finalised, but what parts? Do the files provided in the dropbox link still require autogen shadows to be enabled? What I am interested in are scattering, darker cloud shadows, and the changed sky textures...
