And, with the recent hint by Jon Venema regarding one of the upcoming projects for 2017 probably being the development of scenery for AEFS2, we can expect big expenses in this sim, first to be able to buy the necessary disk support for the huge scenery space, and then to buy those areas which I believe, given the small community of AEFS2 users, will probably be even more expensive than their fsx and p3d offer.

From ORBX I only own Global, which I used with fsx and p3d and appreciated.

But my main concern with this platform is the interest from aircraft developers, and any advances in systems and flight dynamics modeling. There's lots of room for improvement in those areas...

The 3D models in AFS2 is in a league of its own.

So buckle up folks. I suspect we are about to see the first large city like New York in home a Flight simulator Crack 100+ Fps..... And in VR!

Also, if they keep to their regular pattern, La Guardia, JFK, and many other airports in near-payware quality will be included.

Will be interesting to see how it performs.

I have encountered the dreaded blurries in AFS2, even when reducing fps down to 60 fps.

I don't think those are traditional FSX-style blurries. As far as I can tell, Aerofly simply doesn't have those. Instead, you're likely seeing the edges of the high-definition Photoscenery coverage area. (the rest of the world is covered in low definition textures, to be filled in as the sim expands)

Did you download the High definition addon? (Takes the current scenery up close to 90gigs)
