I live like 5 miles from that facility. No doubt they'll sell for 10s or 100s of thousands so they're well out of my price range, but that would be living the dream...

October 6, 20169 yr Not as bad as you think (yet hehe) $110 bucks! https://grafeauction.proxibid.com/asp/Catalog.asp?aid=117590 That was in the video. Still a week left in the auction though. No way any of this sells for so little.

October 6, 20169 yr I cannot help but marvel at those who build these things in their homes. However I feel that you are then stuck with that aircraft model - I like to be able to switch from a Cherokee 180 to a 'bus, or a F16, and to... It wouldn't be very easy to 'plug in' a joystick if you wished to change planes, would it ? (or drop a few knots from Mach .7 to 160 Kts) One can dream... What would be the point of paying even $1000 for one of them if it would cost probably >$10,000 to have it moved, not to mention where it would be installed... Fr. October 6, 20169 yr Looking through the other items for sale it looks like you will probably need to bid on an overhead crane for maintenance and a halon fire suppression system to go along with your sim. I wonder if PMDG is thinking about any of these 747 sims for their sim center. October 6, 20169 yr I am thinking the older ones will be auctioned off to scrap metal companies is more likely. I can't think of why a flight training center would want a 747-400, 757 or DC9 unless they were going to offer training for Cargo Operations. The costs are probably too high to get them going again. The four A320's and two A330's may be used once again. For the rest probably more money in stripping them down then to get them going again.
