One question I can't find the answer to. @Nyxx sent me his checklist and one of the items is to Set EPR. There is a bug on each gauge but nothing in the manual as to how you set it.

I sure I've seen a post re this about not being modelled.

That would make sense. The manual is so thorough I'm sure if it was necessary to adjust the bug some guidance would have been provided. A search of the manual for EPR only shows the gauge and the description of the bug adjuster but not its purpose.

on Wikipedia it refers to engine pressure ratio and about getting more power to meet certified performance.

I completed my test flight but not without incident. The big one was fuselage tank running out of fuel and I failed to spot it so all the engines shut down. But even switching back to left/right tanks that were still a quarter full didn’t get them going.

I had to load a Autosave flight and put some extra in the fuselage tank to complete the flight.

The biggest pain is the yaw damper having a custom switch. My GoFlight switch is useless so I have to pan down to the console to turn it off. Pity it doesn’t have a key combo that I can program.

I was also nearly in the same situation, was doing a flight at the same time as you from KSAN - KSTS, only had 13% fuel left, I tried to set a joystick button for the yay damper in FSuipc5 but didn't activate.

It’s a pain especially when you have to move away from the main forward view to disengage it.

I think I’ll write to the developers and ask why they can’t use the standard yaw damper.

Thanks Dean. Is that the default action for the yaw damper? I’ll check it tomorrow.

UPDATE: I've just checked and CTRL+D is the default action for the yaw damper. I'll check tomorrow what I have programmed on my GoFlight switch.

You use the knob in the middle of gauge to set it.

Set it to what? Nothing in the manual so it looks like it's an undocumented feature as Bob suggested.

Thanks David, got it. I just left it at default for today's flight and nothing unusual happened. Is this setting like emulating a de-rated takeoff?

Just to confirm for a GW of 13K and temp of 10C do I dial in 107? What relevance is runway length? Is that the minimum length for a safe takeoff?

Re the Yaw Damper, not sure the default keys work. I use SPADneXt along with FSUIPC to program all my controllers & see I've got an LVAR in for the switch I use for the YD.

Did it quite some time ago but pretty sure I would have tried the Ctl-D commands first.

One of the very handy things about SPADneXt is it sees all your hardware connected & allows you to program the switches & levers for them all & not just Saitek gear.

In this instance I have a surplus Saitek throttle mounted inverted under my PFC one & use the two outside levers to start the engines & the switches for YD, engine sync & seat belts.

Sort of. It limites the max power.

107? No

You set EPR 2.36

107 will be your V1
