The video you posted is from XPL, and not P3Dv4, so, no, the NGX will not have XPL rain effects.

Additionally, all of the P3Dv4 work right now is compatibility only. No new features or other work will be done, for the most part.

Same method we've always used to install things.

You could probably have derived an answer to your question from the 747 and 777 which they already have released for Prepar3D V4.

Id like all my addons to be outside the core sim folders but maybe theres a reason why PMDG cant do that

Fair enough. Sorry for being presumptuous.

Here's me thinking that 64 bit and PMDG were experts.

I'm confused. What was your point here?

With a party popper, perhaps.

Darn, I got excited in thinking the 4 long days I've had in P3Dv4 without the NGX were over.

"I'm confused. What was your point here?"

Likely, none.

It is just that this is what happens, when PMDG takes too long to release airplanes/expansions/news/updates/hot fixes, for folks to keep busy with ....

It was merely a question. That is all. I thought that was what forums were for. Unfortunately, you and all the other fan-boys have made a mockery of it. Nothing changes here, does it.
