November 10, 20178 yr Hi all, I'm currently running FSX and thinking about switching to P3D V4. How would my system cope with P3D? November 10, 20178 yr Simple answer, yes it would. A better question would be, can it run with your sliders maxed out. In which case it's impossible to know without trying it. But you will definitely be able to run it with reasonably high settings. Best regards, Neal McCullough
November 10, 20178 yr Check out my specs in sig. I run P3Dv4.1 at reasonably high settings and love it. November 10, 20178 yr Hi Greg, I have basically the same hardware except the graphics card, where I use a GTX 1070. Visuals are very nice with High / Very High settings for most of the graphics options even in tough weather with ASP4. However, with high details on shadows and max autogen settings I can bring my system to the knees. So, just try and aim for a good balance. November 10, 20178 yr You should be fine. What's your screen resolution though, definitely not 4K with that GPU, but 1080p works very well. Vu Pham i7-13700K 5.2 GHz OC, 64 GB RAM, RTX5090, SSD for Sim, SSD for system. MSFS2020, XP-12, DCS
