@DaveCT2003, I think I've made my position quite clear. There's too much work involved in getting all the models and schedules setup. I'll leave that to those who are interested.

I'm done with this discussion now. I have my solution.

It sure is. Many of these freeware AI developers go out of their way to make things difficult for anyone but the hardcore addicts to install and use these models and repaints, so don't sweat it. Spend your time flying :)

An Airbus taxiing in behind me as I sat at a gate and I did not hear anything as it passed by, it seems UTL aircraft have no sound? My Old MY6 the sounds were way to loud but now am not sure they have any?

Were you by chance in the FSL Airbus? If so, that would explain it. In the current version, the Engine volume in P3D is turned down to 0, leaving you without AI sounds. I think the next version of the Bus will give us back control of that volume slider.

It's Traffic 3D Sounds for UTL by A. Constable. Just Google it.

I have been using this for years and can recommend it. It makes quite a difference for the sounds, notably following their directions. Early versions were a bit tricky to install, but the latest Prepar3d4 incarnation is just a simple installer doing the job.

Kind regards, Michael

A better option for the average user is Ultimate Traffic Live.

Does this need liveries installed or come with them?  I have heard the default UTL liveries are of poor quality.

I'm just using default AI at max for testing, I want to wait till JF Global Traffic comes out to see which is best.

The good news is that it comes with a lot of common liveries. The bad news is that many others are either missing or out of date. The models that are used in UTL are legacy versions but there are many replacement models and liveries that can be be downloaded from the Internet for free.

Hmm, I cant be arsed installing multiple liveries myself, they should already be there IMHO.

True, but adding AI aircraft with real world accuracy either to P3d or XP is an exercise in busy work. Most developers jump in and then run away when they realize that the time commitment is unjustified by the return on investment.

What do you want to use the software for? offline flying (local ATC) or online flying matching (VATSIM / IVAO ATC?

Offline when not flying VATSIM, using AI traffic with VATSIM is both bad for FPS and dangerous for conflicts.

Ok I am beta testing a great product from BVAI which contains a lot of AI models and the product is "FREE", however the product is designed for model matching with VPilot when you fly with Vatsim to represent other users online.

This is why I asked you the question, If you want to have lot's of traffic when you fly offline with Airplanes flying traffic routes, etc. and you don't want to fiddle with installing the traffict files yourself, etc, then UTL is what you need, unless you want to wait for Trafict Global.

UTL models look way better than MT6a.

Here you have a videos of UTL:

Where this video shows how good your traffic can look if you spend the time and effort to collect freeware AI models, a good source is from AIG, it all depends of what your needs are :)

Best Regards,
Simbol
