June 22, 200619 yr Radar Contact is the weak spot: sounds like a bunch of robots auditioning for American Idol. ricardo

June 23, 200619 yr Why do people always make video's in the dark? Would have been so much more enjoyable if, when the captain is looking out of the side window, you could see something? Why did he look at the manuals behind him when almost about to flare?Good video, apart from that. Dave Taylor
June 23, 200619 yr That is a really cool video. Amazing panning. I wonder how that is on a screen. How do you look that far up and still look at the screen? One thing that would improve that immensely - a FS2Crew voice pack for Radar Contact.
June 23, 200619 yr Commercial Member Neil,If you're using the British voice set with FS2Crew 767, a mini FS2Crew/Radar Contact voice pack is available to make things sound more seemless between FS2Crew and Radar Contact with respect to the FO.I believe this file is available in the Avsim file library. Search under the name "Graham Jackson".Cheers,Bryan B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
June 24, 200619 yr I didn't have to wait for any progressive downloading of the video. Very nice indeed. One thing I noticed or that confused me was when the Capt and the FO were going over the check lists there were ATC instructions at the same time. It seemed that the FO was answering ATC while at the same time reading the checklist. Or was there a 3rd person in the cockpit handling ATC?
June 24, 200619 yr Ricardo:I am always on the look out for your postings because you seem to know a lot about Simming and your comments are quite to the point. Besides I am envious of your fantastic PC gear you own. This time, however , I think you went overboard on your comments about Radar contact 4.I am so glad that Radar contact is available in comparison to FS9 ATC, and the poor availability of Controllers at VATSIM except perhaps from mayor airports and whenever there is a huge programmed fly-in.I have been with Radar contact since it was issued for the first time.As a whole this is a great program not withstanding your comments about Robotic Metallic Voice. My self, I enjoy flying, not just listening ! (to the voice quality). The mathematical programming of RC 4 is fantastic and it follows FAR as close as it can be done. Thanks JD and Group fo this great program. With regard to your postings Ricardo, I will continue looking for your postings which have helped me a lot.Edmundo CardenasCaracas, Venezuela http://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannersupporter.jpg
