Just started a session with an Atlas -8F shown here enroute KIAD-KSFO at FL340 over the Ohio Valley.  Her GW here is 832,800 lbs, I'm able to max out the payload and require only enough fuel that depart with TANK/ENG already configured.   She is a born hauler:

Here's an illustration of newer technology at work.  Sipping some strong and sweet Darjeeling, just out of Anchorage bound for JFK, I wriggled into my sheepskin and wondered about the peaks ahead.  We were headed for Whitehorse and were crossing some rather craggy terrain.  A simple push of the EFIS CTR knob assured me that I could put away my needless worry and start pestering the controller to let me cancel the SPD INTV/restriction (conflicting traffic had disappeared from the ND), and let her have her head...

Are you thinking, "Fly me to the Moon" or "Moonglow"? Me, while I like Frank, I'm really fond of Bucky :)

Thanks for the PIREPs, the bird looks great.  Carl, is this "trolly-dolly" some new accessory to the aircraft?

Not really something to apologize to me for. Just be sure to pay a little more attention next time.
