Depending on the winds (direction and/or strength), you may have all runways in green, there is nothing wrong with that, ATC will allocate the runway in use, if you don't use ATC, you choose your runway.. If that still does not make sense for you, then, as Ray suggested, post your problem on Aivlasoft forum.

The path is set and efb is reading the data and confirms it is doing so. Why do people make statements like this if not fully understanding the capabilities of the program? I understand fully about how wind direction and strength works in terms of runways. As for them all being green, sure I see how that CAN happen. My issue is that in efb v1 there was a clear statement that said ”wind favours runway xx” which usually gave a list in a preferred order if I recall correctly. it just doesn’t seem quite as intuitive. If the link to Opus is working then the ATIS will be visible. Perhaps you can give an example where you expect runway x to be active but runway y is also green even though the wind would not make for a safe departure. Or are you talking about arrivals? You don’t make it clear. But please post the issue on the AivlaSoft forum where the author can assist. He doesn’t visit this place. I am curious how this will be resolved so will follow your topic. I am dong a flight right now from EIDW to EGKK. I go into EGKK arrival in EFB V2, and click on weather, and it shows the wind at 230 at 11 knots and below that it shows the 4 runways, and 26L and 26R a re followed by X wind and T/H wind values and labeled in green Takeoff/Landing. Don't know how it could be an easier than that????

Sure. I’m away for the weekend but the most obvious example I have is where EGCC showed both runways at both ends open for takeoff and arrivals in green. Clearly this can’t be so. Opus fsi was providing the weather and the atis was reading correctly. If I recall, the wind should have favoured 23L and 23R. dont remember exact values though. Both ends of both runways at EGCC in green You sure you are i n the correct section in the correct tab? if you are and the wind is showing a head wind eg (+4 ) on a runway and not zero or nil and both ends are green then you have a bug and as mentioned best get over to their forums ZORAN
August 26, 20187 yr Moderator I live 3 miles from EGCC and run a weather station. Winds have been from the SE this morning veering to S until 1800 when they veered to W and have now backed to SW. See here for details. http://www.cheadlehulmeweather.co.uk/trends.htm. Choose Wind Direction. 23L is not used for landing so winds would suggest a 23R arrival. Definitely not 05 arrival. I suggest you post on the Aivlasoft forum and include screenshots showing the problem. When reporting a problem it’s vital to be as clear as possible. Your posts here have been frustrating because not enough info has been supplied for anyone to have a clear understanding of the problem you are reporting. Ray (Cheshire, England). August 26, 20187 yr Ray, not being funny here but I already said I’m out of town for the weekend. I’m talking about this based on what I saw perhaps a week ago. I’m not trying to be vague, I’m simply saying that’s what I saw. All runways highlighted in green even though the weather was loaded correctly. If I could provide more details I would. When I’m back I will look again and supply screenshots if necessary. Let’s leave it that for the time being.
