September 9, 20187 yr I have experienced the blurry textures also. I am running a version of windows from about two months or so back, the same with my graphics drivers. Before I installed GSX 2 and the update, everything worked fine, the blurries weren't appearing and textures loaded fine. Upon installing GSX 2 yesterday, a whole wave of issues came with it (I'm not sure if it was GSX causing this, but there is no other explanation for the issues I experienced other than GSX. I flew out of Copenhagen last night with no issues, 2 hours later I am starting my approach into Bordeaux and all ground textures are completely black, no Orbx street lights, the only thing that is visible is the runway lights, so I troubleshooted and updated GSX again. I start a flight up to Trondheim from Copenhagen this morning, upon descent into Trondheim I experienced a huge 5 minute hang which I have never experienced before in P3D V4.X, I honestly thought my sim was going to timeout and CTD, but it didn't, it continued and thats where the blurries really settled in. The ground was awful looking, it was so bad the coastlines weren't distinguishable to the ocean and all the terminal etc was black. This is a really weird one, but I seriously think the GSX update whether running GSX 1 or 2 has messed up something within the sim which is causing all of these issues. Obviously its a very wide spread issue, judging by the posts on this page.
September 9, 20187 yr I'm getting the same issues. I uninstalled and that did not fix the issues. The only change I made was installing GSX2. I have no idea what could have caused this. No issues before the new version. I replied to the post in their forums as well. Jeff D. September 9, 20187 yr Are folks seeing this issue using FiberFrameTimeFraction (including something like Dynamic FFTF Accelerator) or AffinityMask tweaks? Having processors at 100% does portend blurries...but I do wonder if people are using settings that might impact how objects, like new SODE jetways, are loaded. For those using Process Lasso, which CPUs are getting hit, and at what AM settings? For those using Process Lasso, which CPUs are getting hit, and at what AM settings? Regards I am not using a cfg file tweak for affinity. I am using process lasso, but have the sim running on all cores (opposite) of what most videos show as to how to use it. So in other words process lasso is more or less running it as default. I found that removing the sim from core 0 and 1 actually caused problems and even some feature went missing. I did however see a massive CPU steady spike but with no performance loss. FPS did not take a hit with GSX2. Everything was fine I thought with GSX2. I did see the nav lights and strobes disappear from the aircraft as well as some strange smoke or contrail effects surrounding the aircraft also. Here's a link to the video of the flight with the issues. Sorry, it's the full live stream recording. ** Edit: Check at 57.17 in the video and 1:03 and 1:20** Edited September 9, 20187 yr by Jeff Nielsen Jeff D. The only "tweak" I am doing (I do this every time I start P3D) is the task manager AF method - right clicking on the P3D process, selecting AF Mask, de-selecting 0 and 1 closing then re-selecting 0 and 1 and closing it then, that increases my performance slightly and reduces stutters significantly. I have used this method every since 4.0 and had no issues what so ever, leaving me to believe this is not the cause of the blurries.
September 9, 20187 yr No cfg tweaks for me. I have been using this setup for 2 months, and it has been wonderful. I have had no reason to start tweaking. September 9, 20187 yr I was just wondering does deleting the Scenery Indexes folder and letting P3D regenerate the folder help with the blurries for anyone? I have done that and my scenery looks fine for now.

September 9, 20187 yr My "saved flights" load extremely slow since GSX L2. Before it loaded within 60-90 seconds (with a longer pause at 6%). Now "terrain loading" needs about 10 minutes to end up in a black screen... What a mess! Edit: Deleting scenery indexes seems to help!
