Yes F2 will give the sim aircraft more “stopping power” than a real Falcon actually has with just one reverser. I don’t know how much aerodynamic effect is modeled for the speed brakes (in the landing phase) in the Flysimware model, but in the real aircraft, the pilot will reach down and manually pull the speed brake handle to the second notch after touchdown. (There is no auto-deploy of speedbrakes on the real aircraft). Deploying them after landing increases braking efficiency. Flysimware has also provided custom assignments for speed brake deploy/retract, which I highly recommend if one has a spare button available. I have extensive r/w maintenance experience with Dassault aircraft. Primarily the 900 series, but I did maintain an older DA50 (with analog instruments) for two years. I am extremely pleased and impressed with how well you guys have modeled this aircraft. I just downloaded it last night. I have Beta 2.4 at the moment, but will upgrade to 2.5 shortly. The only glitch I have noted so far is that the green anti skid brake lights do not illuminate when brakes are applied with the switch set to #1 “on”, though brakes themselves do work fine. November 15, 20187 yr Author Hi Folks, Oh - Thrust Reverse had me worried for a moment - whew - of course there's a solution... Quote We include a custom assignment for your joystick so you can set the #2 thrust reverser once you land since its too hard to reach and look at the throttles. Regards, Scott

You have to press the test button with # 1 set and brakes applied. If it failed to work its because the main panel had exported with a few thing not working as a glitch. Works fine now.

November 17, 20187 yr I pulled the trigger on this today and took it for a spin around the bay near the default airport. I love it. I picked up the Milviz weather radar too. Now if I could just get the F1 GTN or RX GNS working, that would be the icing on the cake. But as add-ons go, this is a winner. Nice job, FSW.

I use my mouse wheel to rotate the VS selector. In the popup, if I rotate the mouse wheel back (for climbing V/S), the selector moves the opposite direction (for descending V/S) and vice-versa. November 17, 20187 yr Bought it and I am really impressed. Very solid and system complete. High definition 3D gauges witch are very satysfying to look at. The night lighting is also amazing. I think that's my favorite bizjet right now 🙂 Only thing missing in my opinion is more realistic texturing on the cockpit panels and walls and some weathering. This is more neceassary for good immersion during daylight flying. But reading at the previous posts, this should be expcected later ? Hah - it will have to be good to bump my beloved Lear from #1 - actually - the Lear is a better fit for my type of flying - so I don't see that happening - I do prefer the Lear's looks as well - but my number two slot is open - LOL... 😜 Looks like Mark figured out the shadows/lighting on this one too...
