My understanding is starting with a default (usually a relatively simple)  aircraft helps assure there are no 'unanticipated' sim variables set to an unexpected value that may cause a problem.

I cannot give you a direct quote, however, I have read more than once in the past on the A2A forum that it was "suggested" (by Lewis of A2A) to set up a flight scenario with a default aircraft and then switch to and load the selected A2A aircraft. I personally did not have to do so when I used FSX Gold Edition, but for whatever reason, I need to do that in P3D 3.4xx. To the best of my knowledge, there is no "suggestion" or instruction to do so with the Flysimware Lear 35. I would hope the developer may read this and respond to your question.

I have always stared FS9, FSX Deluxe/SP2/Acceleration, P3Dv1/2/3/4xx with the sims default aircraft.

I do not have any A2A products.

I must admit the thought had crossed my mind about loading a basic default aircraft first, as I know many other developers recommend that approach. It's something I've never done, and I've never yet really had any issues from not doing that... Until now perhaps?

Yeah I think I'm doing "it" right. I tried to ensure that the first screenshot showed the AP switch in the on position.

Just tried loading the L35 straight from the P3D splash screen and the AP work fine., may a clean install of the L35 is best, ensure you have Internet security exclusions set up for the installer exe.

OMG why is this becoming so complex?  Remembers me TFDi..... "Not us,   its LM...."     And for month you cant use a product due to CTDs while back and forth bikering is not getting anyone to the solution...  😐

Is your default flight the default sim aircraft at the default airport?

The way the sim would start (splash screen) before selecting another aircraft / airport / weather and time after the sim is first installed?

I installed recently the last update of Learjet 35A (Version 4.1A), but 
the "avionics master switch" command is gone ???

I tried a reinstallation, but it does not solve the problem...

How to solve this problem ?

For now, I've assigned a key combination for this command.

The Avionics Master switch was moved to the lower left side of the panel below the RMI gauge. This is where it is in the real airplane.

Yep, F22 at default airport...   If its all about it, the answer is yes...

Apparently the f22 was only added as default for FSX gold. The micro light was the original default if you want the simplest setup with most compatibility. Was informed of this during an enlightening thread with PMDG to get rid of the default aircraft warning always appearing on my screen.
