Any comments on what they are like? I can't see them at work :-(

Pretty good video, it shows:The 2D panel in the cessna being translucentA new glider, close up of the external showing some animations. Then it takes off showing for the first time (to me anyway) the tow plane. Then its just that mission where you're out in the ocean by the carrier in the microlight.

if you watch the video of the translucent 2d panel closely, you can see all the traffic on the road behind the panel!!

Even better: Check out the waves in the carrier shot. They're big, slow, rolling, as opposed to small and choppy like we've seen elsewhere (for example, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8CnwGANP6w). Either they've made a correction, or we now have waves that vary with weather and/or location.Earl

The ground texture resolution is identical to FS9. I thought, they went like 4 times the resolution for the textures. Wasn't there a blog showing the texture resolution?

FSX does have the higher res ground textures. (!) otherwise manny you are scaring me. That's a MAJOR improvement, and it should be in there.Rhett

Wow, these videos take forever to load. I'm not sure if it

Well on the video called "I tried FSX" it only gets to where the sailplane is sitting on the runway and then the video ends.

Thanks for the video, for me, it was allright.. I am not sure what to think of the translucent 2D panel... I mean.. how is this relating to flight simulation, there is no real translucent panel IRL that I know of... I know MS is trying to attract a wider audience with the chalenges/missions/etc.. I for one dont care much about this.. I am looking forward for the DX10 features.. just my opinion...John
