Looking for utility that would measure landing...

Featured Replies

I'm wanting a little utility that would measure the distance of my landing and takeoff roll.

Any such thing?

Ciao!

The acars program for the VA I fly for sometimes will track that. I’m sure other VAs have something similar.

5800x3d Asus 4090 ROG Strix OC 2TB SSD 32GB Ram

project fly will do the landing.  It also is a neat little way to organize your flight history

5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW  and 2  22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU,  360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

Lord of the landing does landings quite nicely

AivlaSoft EFB. Bit of an overkill just for monitoring vertical speed during landing, but it has the feature. Havent used BlackBox flight logger in a while, but that should be able to monitor this variable as well,

ProjectFly is 'dead'. Whether it can be resuscitated is another question.

+1 for Lord of the Landing (v1.8).
Another utility I use is Landing Rate Monitor.

AMD Ryzen 5800X3D; MSI RTX 3080 Ti ; 32GB Corsair 3200 MHz; ASUS VG35VQ 35" (3440 x 1440)
Fulcrum One yoke; Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack Airbus edition; MFG Crosswind rudder pedals; miniCockpit FCU; CPFlight MCP 737; Logitech FIP x3; TrackIR

MSFS; Fenix A320; A2A PA-24; HPG H145; PMDG 737-600; AIG; RealTraffic; PSXTraffic; FSiPanel; REX AccuSeason Adv; FSDT GSX Pro; FS2Crew RAAS Pro; FS-ATC Chatter

Not specific for it but I just use FSX2ACMI and Tacview.

Because LoL some how don't start on my system, and FSX2ACMI just start automaticlly so I won't forget

What happened to PF?  I just used it a few days ago I think.

It went offline with nearly £3,000 debt. Recovered due to crowd-funding.

Let's just say that there have been 'issues' surrounding its viability and that I'm not counting on it being around with things as they stand.

Massively OT for this thread though.

Here's a gauge I made for FS9, P3D still accepts the FS9 xml syntax so it should work.

Not used it, but glad people have taken the time to put their knowledge to something that benefits us all. Thanks for making it!

I did hear something about the crowd funding.  So now to steer back (sorta) to topic, may need a separate thread for this.  But Ive been looking for a good logbook for simming.  Thats actually how i ended up on project fly in the first place since I never found one I liked.  I'd prefer something locally installed than all this online, dependent on other peoples funding, server availability ect.  I don't necessarily NEED landing stats but hey they're always fun to look at once in awhile.

This is exactly what I need and works great in p3d v4.5 no hotfixes

Great stuff!
I really like the talent people have brought to flight simming.
